I had this issue pop up tonight for the first time as well… no departure times set until Friday morning (currently Wednesday) and when the car started charging at 10pm per the usual schedule, it started preconditioning (got the message in FordPass). Went into the garage and sure enough cabin...
I had this same issue as well, just had to turn it back on in settings. For me, the update also turn off the rear view camera delay setting, had to turn that back on as well.
I just saw the video... looking forward to seeing his thoughts on everything that has changed since he last had the Mach-E for an extended period of time.
I experienced this for the first time today as well. Was in Unbridle going about 55-60mph this afternoon, got the "Drive Mode Unavailable" message, seemed to be stuck in Engage mode. Couldn't change it again for about 5 minutes. When it happened I was at about 70% SOC and 38 degrees outside...
Mine has been pretty good with charging to my set limit, the only times I’ve noticed unintended charging to 100% was after an OTA software update was applied overnight
I had the same thing happen to me the other day when I got the update. Also turned off 1PD which was a nice surprise when I put it in reverse and it took off.
This was a June 22 build, after the HVBJB fix.
Picked mine up this morning... very straight forward delivery process at the dealer, probably the least painful vehicle purchase I ever made. No issues with X-Plan, and got the Ford Options incentives (1.4% APR and $1,000 cash) that were available when I ordered back in February.
So far really...
The Juicebox plug is set up for ground down if the plug is directly below the unit (ground away from the unit). Each EVSE orients differently, one thing to keep in mind when having the outlet installed (not that its hard to rotate it after the fact).
Assuming you're on Norfolk Southern:
1. Call 800-635-5768
2. Press 2.
3. Press 2.
4. Enter the letters on the numeric keypad then press #. As in: TTGX will be 8849
5. Enter the numbers then press #. It wasn't taking my voice prompts but typing worked.
Cool, making progress. Just for comparison, Conway is a fairly big railyard and I think I was in Conway for about 18 hours. The last big stop between Conway and Wilmington was Enola, PA which was another 18 hour stop.
Ugh... I keep checking to see if mine switches from Inactive to Pending Pickup. Not sure how I'd react if I saw mine changed to Cancelled. Are you able to see if other vehicles destined for your dealer switched to cancelled as well (I'm guessing not as all I can see are other Pending or In...
Basically just called the Norfolk Southern number and tracked the railcar number. Once it left KC, I would get updates as it passed various points along the route. I was probably calling 2-3 times a day to see where the train was and unless it was at an intermediate station (where it would...
If you’re showing inactive, then you haven’t been unloaded in Wilmington yet. Once you’re unloaded and ready to be picked up for delivery to the dealer, your status will change to “Pending Pickup.”
Yep, their system has been pretty consistent updating for me as it passes various points. Ford VVR from this morning still shows it in KC lol.
Great that I’ve made good progress, but of course with the way my luck works I leave for a work trip Tuesday morning. At this point I hope it either...
I just checked with Norfolk Southern, my current status as of 11:45am is PCON (constructive railcar placement) in Port Wilmington, DE. Next step I think is to unload and put a truck to the dealer! Not sure how long this step takes but getting closer!
United Road I believe deals with the trucking from Wilmington to Northern VA. You should be able to track it via VIN on their website:
