I would appreciate if someone can check on my VIN. I have decided to keep my 2021 (job 2) and my only request is to get the lane change update. But I am not sure if my Mach E is compatible
thanks
Ford Extends Tesla Supercharger Adapter Deadline Amid Delays

Sorry you had a terrible road trip and it was a good reminder that challenges ICE cars face.
On Sunday I drove 5 hours one-way to Rochester in my Mach E. Left home at 100% and drove past every busy service area on I-90. Charged overnight back to 100% at my hotel. The traffic home right after...
Follow up question, what is Tesla’s plan on upgrading V2 Superchargers? Eventually they will be replaced at end of life, I am hoping that announced a quicker timetable
With the NACS/CCS adapter only for V3 Superchargers, is there an official and constantly updated interactive map filtered for V3 only?
trying to figure out now which Superchargers are V3 near me and my regular road-trips. I realize in 2024 the info will be available. But Google searches today...
thoughts on securing the new adapter when it is released? With Magic Dock it’s secured to the Tesla dispenser and cable. Currently adapters - from CCS to Tesla - are over $100 and one would assume the new adapter to be at least $100. Not sure how Ford and Tesla could prevent theft
about every 2 months I drive 300 miles to Rochester New York and stop at the halfway point to charge and stretch my legs. As expected the winter temps reduced my range but the headwinds and snow squalls meant I had to stop and charge at 2% and 5 miles on the GOM
I think part of the solution would be faster L2 charging — the standard tops out at 19kW. If the EV could accept it then one could go from 20% to 80% in 4 hours. The Mach E has a 11kW onboard charger and I get that at home. But at the local grocery store it’s 6kW and limited to 90 minutes...
Agreed until V4’s are actually live we will not know. This past Sunday I was able to visit the Verona site with my Mach E And while the MagicDock wasn’t yet operational, I did try the Tesla cable and it seemed another 12-18 inches would make this work when pulling straight in and not blocking...
There are new signs with a QR code to link on how to charge a non-Tesla at the New York sites. Plus the Magic Dock is visible change to each SC. Probably the best way to find them is in the Tesla app
While the short cables on version 3 Supercharges are not practical for a Mach E. I would think that opening up to non-Teslas will reduce the usage at EA, EVGo, etc. and thus indirectly benefit us Mach E drivers. Eventually Tesla will roll out version 4 Superchargers that have longer cables.
It's the infrastructure and not the car that is lacking. Every 2 months, I make a 330-mile drive from Connecticut to Rochester, NY. I usually stop at the mid-point to DCFC to 80% and this past weekend with the temperatures in the 20's, headwinds and snow showers I couldn't complete the second...
I can't speak to the total number of Shell Recharge for the US, I have personally charged at several Shell Recharge branded dispensers in the Northeast
