This may seem a simple question, but I'm struggling to find the right code for Bosch Aerotwin Front wipers for the UK Mustang :-( Entering my Reg seems to come up with a variety of different ones and the connector doesn't look right from the photos.
Amazon suggested A296S which has turned out to...
Has anyone with a Y21/22 had this update in the UK yet?
I appear to have the eye tracker on my SR AWD and Iām on 5.1.1 software, but no sign of the option in my account subscriptions yet.
So long as you have a car that is capable of working with IO and it has passed the test, then they put you on the tariff. You can disable the intelligent control in the Octopus app. You still get the 23:30 to 05:30 cheap rate for any electricity consumed.
I just charge using the standard Zappi...
Oh Iād still switch to Intelligent if you can.
The extra 2 hours of low cost energy is worth it. The car passed the test charge which is the only requirement. Then you just disable it and carry on as before.
Was there any news in this? I had to uninstall and reinstall the app when something went wrong with my watch app. But after the reinstall, the image hasnāt come back.
If youāre up for a little DIY look this up on Amazon.co.uk
āB086MLFRJ3ā
It adds garage door opening to your phone and then you have a button in Car-play or Android Auto.
No more fobs ?
The only drawback is that you have to wait for the phone to pair before the button appears, but I find that...
Oh well, itās going back in Jan to have an update put in manually after they swapped out the infotainment module. I used to have the EV route planning, but when they switched it out, the feature went away. I do have a horizontal volume bar though.
This is all way too cryptic, why donāt they just...
Please can someone tell me how to find this? When I look at my updates screen all I see is āup to dateā. Where do you see this version number??
Iāve asked my dealer and they canāt tell me!
I would struggle with myself to buy again. I have had a string of problems with the software ending up with having the infotainment unit completely replaced.
all the way through the pain, my dealer has been pretty poor. They just donāt seem to know what theyāre doing with the software. I still...
So far I have not been able to get it to work. I have a Zappi charger. It passed the initial test to control the charge, but since then whenever I plug in the car, the charge never stops. Initially I thought this might be due to the map, as the car was reporting the wrong address during charging...
Iāve been to two different dealerships and they say the same, itās normal, all EVs do it. They are right that all Mache make this noise, but the fact is, other manufacturers are trying harder to make sure they donāt.
If anyone on this thread has a positive response on this problem, please can you post? Here in the UK it is considered normal as Ford say they all make this noise.
Thankfully the sound system covers most of it, butā¦
Thanks for the well wishes, just back from the dealer now. Needless to say they have suggested the car is "normal". I asked if I could have the loaner instead then and they just smiled... ?
I am not going to let this go and I hope Ford are monitoring this forum...
Other cars in this price...
I have just been to my local Ford dealer for the big SW update and recall. They gave me a loaner MachE4 AWD. It has the same noise, but noticeably much less than mine, so clearly some cars have this whine louder than others. The loaner has done 11k, compared to my 4.5k so maybe it changes over...
At least you all have a Mustang key fob! Here in the UK we have a standard Ford key because they havenāt added the RF sleep mode to the fob.
Iāve become adept at using the door numeric keypad to open the frunk. I can do if faster than it takes to load the app :)
Having driven several other manufacturers AWD offerings that have no such whine, I find it hard to accept that this is just ānormalā. For a premium value car I would expect better. My wifeās Honda e is dead silent for Ā£20k less.
Donāt get me wrong, I agree itās overall a great car, but to have...
