    Dealer sent me a picture showing me one on the lot with the same issue. They said they would pull the panel off to investigate. But yes it is smooth. Wonder if there's illustration for the under side?

    Just wondering if anyone has seen this and know what it is? Are these caps and are there screws/bolts under here? My car is currently getting serviced and wanted to take care of this. Dealer says this is normal characteristic. I don't think so. Thoughts?

    Hey EssJayKay, I wouldn't even bother with the dealer on this one. This happened to me too. Just pop the inner tailgate panels off and you will see where the lamps are attached. Just re-secure them but not too tight. Should be a 10mm socket if I can remember. If it fell off just search around...
