For years, the liftgate on my 2021 Mach-E never opened on its own, but it has happened 2 or 3 times now in the last year. Luckily it has not hit anything as I park outside, but it is concerning. I don't know what has changed.
They scratched two of my wheels on two different visits, I’ve never had that happen with anyone else. I don’t think I will use them again. I think they may be too cheap.
I don't understand why BMW insists on making such bizarre looking grills on almost all their recent vehicles. The 5 series is probably the only one that has a good front end at this point.
I agree with Travis, this SSM seems to be saying if your vehicle experiences an issue with a HV battery module, the tech doesn’t need to replace the entire battery pack anymore but can instead just replace that module.
I think it’s important to remember with these SSMs that they are not public...
Absolutely, and more than compliments, there were multiple occasions in early 2021 where people straight pulled over to take pictures of my Mach-E, it was a very unusual experience!
The Mach-E was definitely 'induced demand' for me. I was happy with my existing ICE Equinox at the time, and felt a bit like a fool taking delivery of a brand new vehicle when I was still happy with my Equinox and working 100% remote at the time. Glad I did though!
Wow, time sure flies. I remember seeing the reveal, thinking this would be a great vehicle, sleeping on it for a day, and putting in my reservation the next morning.
Out here in Los Angeles, it obviously doesn’t get anywhere near as cold as it does in Michigan. But I’ve always preferred the Mach-E heater to ICE vehicle heaters because it isn’t tied to an engine warming up to work and I get hot air instantly in my MME.
Definitely have it checked out OP.
Yes, I usually use the key fob too. I had noticed PaaK wasn't working well right after I got the new iPhone. But in the past, it's taken a week or so for things to settle down with a new phone. I have had to open the app sometimes too to get it to work.
I figured after having had it for a...
Why did you reset it, because it was a new phone, or you were having issues like me?
Actually, now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure I did have to set it up when I got the new phone since I don't think the PAAK digital key just transfers over the way the login credentials for most apps do.
I recently picked up an iPhone 17 Pro to replace my iPhone 15 Pro. On my old phone, PAAK was nearly flawless, almost always opening the door instantly the first time I pressed the button. But now, almost every time, I find myself standing by the door and pressing the button, and pressing it...
Ford did a great job with the Mach-E’s interior design, but the Premiums/GTs are sort of like what Ford calls Titanium on other vehicles. Definitely room to go more upscale.
The easiest package in the world for Ford to create and upsell would be ambient lighting in the rear, acoustic laminate...
Lincoln’s problem in general is they have zero sport packages on any of their vehicles. It’s a real gap for people who want something from Ford that is more upscale but want their vehicle to lean toward sport not comfort.
Before I used handsfree BlueCruise, I would have agreed with you. In theory it seems pointless to not use your hands if you have to pay attention to the road anyway.
But in practice, I can say there is in fact a notable difference between the two. You simply don’t need to be on as high level of...
It seems you have really done your homework OP. I would say is the Ford dealer that important? At least during my ownership, I’ve had only a few contacts with them.
For the vehicles themselves, I’d say check out this MotorTrend article published yesterday where they compare six (edit: seven)...
