They also get their MME almost a month ahead of everyone else waiting. Didn't have to stress over the $20k difference for a MY LR, or make the mistake of giving up their MME for a M3/Y.
Income limit for a single person is $150k. Which is probably great, unless you live in the Bay Area. Where rent starts at $2k and can quickly hit $4k/month (if you live in the city).
I think you're in the wrong forum. Your comments may be appreciated more in the Mach E vs Competition, unless you have a pending order. Or heartbroken over an existing order.
Fingers crossed they stack for you. I was part of this build week, '23 Mach E GT with PCO. Original build date 11/30, promise date 12/31, actual delivery was 1/21. I walked away from it and bought a M3 LR when Tesla did the price cuts. I couldn't justify the $13k difference, and didn't want to...
Thank the automaker that starts with a T that we’re even seeing any of these price cuts. I’d take an 2022 end of the year 2023 mme gt with the tax credit any day.
60 days inventory build up is when dealers will start feeling pressure.

Elon is the definition of Silicon Valley that we joke:
1. Fake it till you make it
2. Throw everything at the wall (investors) and see what sticks.
However, what he did do successfully is that he has legions of engineers that believe in his vision, they’re doing something positive, and their...
Enough people that buy the GT and are upset at the 5 sec gray bars. Otherwise, Ford would only need to sell the Premium AWD.
If acceleration didn't matter, the Audi Q4 would be a direct competitor, and Ford wouldn't have attached the Mustang name to the MME.
You can buy the 4680 Model Y SR on Tesla's current inventory.
Good comment on tooling, Model 3/Y and mega cast is basically the same production tooling. Once Tesla amortizes the tooling cost (think of any long running Toyota Truck), they can recognize additional profits.
If you look at the spartan, I mean minimalist design, I can see how aside from the battery and drivetrain, it’s $25k cost camry.
I take that back, didn’t mean to disrespect the camry like that, it has a nicer interior.
It’s hard to change some dealership mentality if the owner/managers believe “dealerships have always been this way, come in take a test drive, let’s talk”
I’d like to say we’re having a civil discussion because we’re passionate about the car. Try going to a tesla board and see how quickly the conversation will change.
Its also why manufacturers love showing off conquest sales statistics. The Mach e got a lot of customers to think about Ford, and walk into a Ford dealership.
