You know what? That worked (thank you!). Although I donāt understand why as I checked before deleting and downloading and I had the latest version. Therefore I deleted the same app that Iāve downloaded and no longer get the error.
happy that itās gone away, unhappy that there seems to be no...
Hi All - anyone seen this yet? Within the last hour or so, every time I try to open my FordPass app I get this:
BUTā¦as soon as I hit the download button, I go to AppStore and get THIS:
so far I havenāt found a way around this circular error!
anyone else experiencing or have a workaround?
Hmm, not so good and I sympathise. Reading the main forum pages I picked up that the entire OTA approach/schedule seems to follow the āLas Vegasā method (ie throw some diceā¦!!)
So, a couple of days ago I received thisā¦
..ok, so seemed clear enough - arrange to take into dealer, get the update and then Power-ups will happen OTA.
Then yesterday I had a notification in FordPass that Power-up 3.5.2.1 (part 1) was successful.
Call me confused! Anyone else experience this...
Yes, pretty much the same in the U.K. although that may change given the current economic situation. I used actual cash for the first time in 3 years last month, once to pay a person to clear all the house guttering and another time to pay for our yearly āgarden tidy-upā before winter.
On both...
What we donāt have is PaaK, nor (in the U.K. anyway) hands-free driving. Our software versions are waaay behind the āStates.
Itās interesting reading some of the replies though - pretty much every car Iāve had (in the U.K.) for the last 20 years has had a āsnowflakeā warning symbol come up at...
Thereās a useful 5 minute video on YouTube, showing a non-Tesla driver using one of the available CCS-fitted charge stations in the U.K. they explain the process including app/payment. The video also has a banner listing locations in the U.K. where converted Tesla chargers are available. hereās...
Two pointsā¦
Iāve found that opening the frunk has become the āshowcase momentā with non-EV owners - apparently you can tell a person all day that thereās no engine, but open the Frunk and they (every time so far) gasp in amazement and say āthereās no engine!ā
Second point is purely local (U.K.)...
The early adopter club :-)
Firstly, I agree with the OP, a reliable charge network is the biggest issue.
Having said that, is it any different from the experience and history of petrol (gas) stations?
In the U.K. the first āpetrol service stationā opened in 1919. It had one (manually operated)...
In the U.K. there are now 158 Tesla Superchargers available to non-Tesla, so I can tell you they come with a dedicated CCS plug. The charge for non-members is 61pence (69 cents) per kWh. Itās an option, although given I can use other fast chargers for my routes at a cost of 38p (43c) itās not...
Early days for me (4,000 miles clocked up) but Iām averaging 3.7 on my 68kWH standard range battery. I live in the mountains of North Wales. Although Iāve been driving hybrids for 10 years I still grin when I watch my ārangeā increase when going down mountains (obviously I shut my eyes when...
Your quite right. Iād forgotten that Iād read elsewhere on the forum that we have no PaaK over here. Hey-Ho, love my car anyway. Thanks again, insight/comments *very* appreciated
Thanks @generaltso. Apart from the minor heart attack about the password (how did that happen?! Argh!) cheers for the advice about PaaK Iāll give it a go now
