I'm on this thread because my 178 lb body has all of a sudden caused this annoying squeak. MME is 1 year old with 11,000 miles. I get in and everything is good. I drive maybe 20-30 minutes and intermittently...
'Dealers' are comprised of a sales division and a service division. I believe the service division makes the money. Not much to service on an EV....so they sell ICE....maybe.
Correct; equipment will not be ripped out on Jan 1, 2030. New construction will require the use of electric HVAC as well as all replacement HVAC equipment sold for existing dwellings. That kinda sucks if you don't have a big enough panel for supplemental 230V heat strips.

Either way, I would think the Robinson-Patman act prohibits price discrimination, here. I'm not clear how Elon can legally charge MME owners more than Tesla owners for the same product (electricity). What is the loophole? Any legal eagles here?
