At 79 I thought I was an early adopter but a First Edition when the ordered declined it. Almost three years in, it’s now fully sorted. Its had all the updates, repairs, etc. it drives great. It’s quick off the line and in mid range maneuvers. At 22,000 miles it almost like new. Garaged always...
First time was a month after I bought it. On Easter Sunday, the 12V battery died in the Burger King lot in Dublin, GA. I took 2 days to get a tow. Ford customer service was great and they covered everything... rental car, etc. But it took two weeks to get the battery in Macon GA. That was the...
I bought a 2021 First Edition In March of ‘21. It has about 22k miles on it now. It simply put has everything that was available at that time. It has ER battery with 348hp and probably some stuff not available today, eg parking assist, hands free tailgate, etc. Today the car runs as intended and...
I don't feel quite the same. I really like the car and this last failure turns out to be a TSB recall a week later. So I'm not alone. After a month or two, I mastered all the tech that I wanted and just treated like any other care I've ownedThe quiet is nice (I drove a MachOne last week and...
It's all I need to survive Armageddon for 3-4 days. If you go to Youtube you'll find it is most capable, mores that its competitors and it will suffice for where I want to go. I won't be doing any serious rock climbing. . For Example. I've owned 46 cars/trucks as I said. I could get a new...
Well, I tried. I got my Mach E First edition in March 2001. In that time I took several road trips of more than 600 miles. In the past 18 months it was flawless but I just had it towed for the third time. All tolled it has been in the shop 5 weeks with electrical issues that made it impossible...
You’re correct but it’s worth noting that + years I’m still getting better than the advertised range in 2021. It my first EV, bought on a cancellation. My 46th vehicle including 8 MBs ( 1 Gwagen), 3 Audis, 3 BMWs, 4 Miatae, a Peugeot, 2 Renaults, 2 VWs, 2 Fords, 2 Chevys, Isuzu, Porsche, Suzuki...
JuiceBox changed their app. It’s now “Enel X” You need to download the new and start from new in clouding unpairing the charger. But the charger may be screwed too. I when through this for 2 weeks and now they’re sending me a new box.
It seems to me that when driving an EV, the long front serves two major concerns. The front acts as an impact reduction system when you have a front end crash. And remember that there is extra storage needed for a cross country jaunt. Simple short front ends won’t happen until the ICEs go away.
Just an observation from the SE coast. Where I live on an island there is only one other MME. That one belongs to the dealer’s son. On the other hand, new Broncos are like you know what. They are everywhere almost spoiling my desire to own one in the near future!
I compared the standard issues of the comparable priced Cadillac Lyric with the MME and Ford wins as it will over the Chevy. Read closely. The Chevy is FWD unless you pay extra, not RWD or AWD. The range numbers are “up to…” and not EPA determined. Understand that Ford built too good of an EV...
I have yet to see any free chargers except for one at city hall in Bonaire, GA. You are fortunate to have so many available but I don't think that covers everywhere in the US. Surprising that you have them in Michigan. I lived in Troy for a while working there and didn't see anything free! And...
First things first. I have a 2021 First Edition Mach E I lucked into when the original order was canceled. It has everything. No more options were available when I bought it in March 2021. It's had its issues early on but has been fine since. I got BlueCruise a month ago and used it for the...
