I use the PAAK solidly for last two years on two cars. Important though to have your door code working & the car start passcode, i.e. Ford/Lincoln apps down one day in 2025 due to Amazon WW server network error.
if the car does requires a passcode after pressing the start button, not picked...
Unless the Ford mothership has restricted or delayed by country. In Canada I'm using Ford version 4.6 from the App Store. Frequently the Ford & Lincoln app don't automatically update on our iPhones. Have to go to the iPhone App Store, search for Ford (Lincoln), open, then select update.
I've had no issues using FDRS on my two cars for last two years in Ontario (CA). Dealer does their mechanical & recall stuff BAU. Dealer knows I use FDRS to keep the cars "SW Module" current, look at any DTCs.

My wife with iPhone 14 iOS 26.2.1 has had no more issues with the 2022 MME & 2024 Lincoln Corsair after I deleted phone from both cars, deleted/forgot the two bluetooth links on the phone for each car, then linked the phone again to both cars, plus the PAAK setup. All works for her, yippee...
These SW updates appeared on FDRS this week for my 2022 MME GTP. The first FDRS updates since Oct'25. All installed quickly (PCM = 8mins, SOBDM = 5mins, DCDC = 5mins).
Did see some good news yesterday on the Beta3 release on 26.3 Developer Beta 2. In amoungst the fine print what changed was "Modem Firmware updated from 23D5103d to 23D5114d". Hopefully this improves the Bluetooth connectivity...and Carplay, in addition to any 5G & WiFi tweaks. iOS 26.2/26.3...
Failed once yesterday on 26.3 (developer release). Recovery as before on 26 is turn Bluetooth on the phone off then on.
PAAK has always worked without issue on 26, unlike CarPlay.
My wife (iPhone 13) & I (iPhone 17 Pro Max) updated to iOS 26.2...then....the Carplay pains started on our 2022 MME and 2024 Lincoln Corsair GT. At times I had to turn off iPhone bluetooth and back on again, to get the phone recognised on both cars. I've updated to 26.3...and...all seems to...
