I ordered the adaptor a couple months ago and I received the confirmation through the FordPass app. Now when I go into the app, I see no evidence that the adapter was even ordered, and no email confirmations were sent.
Does anyone know the best way to get a status?
Ya. It basically said I have 2 options for the BlueCruise update. The dealer can do it at no cost, or it can be done OTA, provided I am connected to wifi and I have an update schedule set.
Got it…thanks! The letter I received from Ford re: the BluCruise update did instruct to make sure that wifi is connected, however. And it also said to set up a schedule for updates, which I did. We'll see what happens.
Hey all,
I was checking the connectivity to my home network to make sure I get the upcoming Bluecruise update. In the vehicle it says that my wifi connection is up and running, however in my Eero network utility, I see absolutely no sign of an IP or MAC address tied to the vehicle. There is a...
Thanks all for the comments.
The route won’t involve much hilly terrain, but the fast charging options in the destination area are pretty much nonexistent, so I'll top off to 80% in Waco. I think there are a few stretches of 75mph highway, so maybe that got factored into the range estimate...
I would most appreciate any feedback on this. So from reading earlier posts, the consensus seems to be that the range calculation on the front display is far from accurate, and the best way to get an accurate range estimate is to create a route in the nav and check the battery prediction for the...
I ran into another MME owner at an EA station who just bought his car, and he was given two key fobs. Since I've had nothing but headaches with PAAK, I'm calling the dealer on Monday to insist they give me a second keyfob. PAAK is nowhere near reliable.
For the last couple of weeks PAAK completely stopped working on my iPhone. I have tried resetting it in the vehicle, then removing and setting it up again on the phone. When I go through the setup, it always stalls after the prompt to copy the access code, then the phone says the setup failed...
This has happened a couple of times now where the charge port door opens while I'm driving. Both times were on the freeway at higher speeds, when the door suddenly opens and the “charge port ajar” warning comes on.
Has anyone else had this issue?
So for the second time in a row I woke up to a 100% charged battery, even though I have my home charging set to 90% on FordPass and in the car. I had it on a schedule, but recent changed it to “charge when plugged in”
Anyone know why this is happening?
I've had a couple of small rock chips on the front grill area, and I used the Dr. Colorchip kit to touch them up. The Grabber Blue paint matched perfectly and after buffing it out I literally cannot find where those rock chips were.
Wow, what a great community we have. I very much appreciate all the feedback.
Ya, I have the Tesla wall charger (my son has a Model 3 and the original plan was to get a Model Y for us). It's on a dedicated 60A breaker so it supports the full 48A charging. I already dialed it down to 40A a few...
