This is a heads-up to anyone in or near Louisiana looking for a ā23 with no ADM. My build date is March 6 so I expect my dealer should be getting it in late April. Shadow Black Premium, RWD/SR, sticker at $54,975 so it sneaks in under the IRA MSRP cap. If interested I can connect you with my...
My dealer has a ā22 Select in stock with 590 miles for $58,995 (window sticker is $48,905 MSRP and a ā21 Premium with 22k miles (formerly a mannequin vehicle, only owned by the dealership) for $61,995 (original MSRP $56,040). Both have been available for a few weeks now.
Yet this same dealer...
Likewise, I got to borrow a Lightning Pro trim overnight from my dealer last week. It really is a great truck. And the 12ā screen was more than adequate - in fact I liked having more physical controls for climate and stuff. Iād be pretty happy with an XLT, but once I spec the other options I...
Me likey. Once we find out how long the build times are when the order banks open, Iāll either be ordering a premium in this color or Iāll break down and order an F150. š¤·š»

Same, the Mach E will be my first EV. Iām at a point where an EV is a good fit for my life (wife has an Expedition for when we need it, my daily mileage is far less than 200 miles, and I can easily install a charger in the garage). And it still manages to be practical for family use.
Early adopters of the Mach E are weighted toward people already comfortable with owning an EV, so this makes sense for the first quarter of sales. But Ford's target market isn't Tesla customers, it's existing Ford customers to start with. Watch what happens through the rest of this year to ICE...
As excited as I am about owning a Mach E, we are a strictly committed "one debt at a time" family, so I'm looking at probably 12-18 months before my wife's Expedition is paid off. We are also usually a "never buy cars brand new" family, but the tax incentives ($10k total for me in Louisiana)...
