This is incredibly exciting! :D One step closer to in-house cell production and the rapid acceleration of EV volumes. No more months and months of waiting (hopefully) for future BEV customers.
Does yours actually keep track of consumption?
Mine goes from a number to the text "UNDEFINED" after a few hundred miles on the specific trip. I'd say within 100-200 miles it goes to "UNDEFINED" instead of a number. Resetting it fixes it, but just for a few hundred miles.
I would not call the headlights passable. The Premium lights are okay, nothing spectacular. They're assessed as "Good" by IIHS, the lowest passing score.
Selects, on the other hand, get headlights that fail the IIHS testing and are rated "Marginal."
I would be skeptical about ordering...
I find that red 12V battery symbol during DCFC pretty unnerving. If ever there was a time the vehicle could be topping up the 12V, I would think it'd be when there's an abundance of energy pouring into the car.
This is great news. I still wish they'd be more forthcoming on which bugs were fixed, I'm hoping some of the squashed bugs are for PAAK and the general sluggishness and bugginess of SYNC.
That's the first I've heard of it, but it's still early days for our cars.
I have a noticeable tip-in clunk during acceleration - but mine's RWD so it's coming from the back, and it's just a feeling, not really a noise. Mine feels less like a CV joint and more like gear lash, which makes me...
DTE Energy here in the Detroit area has the same plan. Juicebox or ChargePoint or you don't get any money - it's because they require the homeowner to register the chargers which enables data sharing with the utility. Did your rebate come with those terms?
Specifically, our terms include...
They do tell you to turn off the HVAC in the winter while DCFC if you want to achieve the advertised DCFC speed. That was in the advice email they sent out.
I have mentioned it to my dealer, but they were not receptive to investigating. I'm glad your dealer is, and went through these awesome efforts to get it looked at. I hope that if MagneRide fixes it, they allow us to upgrade to it.
Shit is broken now.
PAAK doesn't work.
SYNC is buggy.
Plug&Charge doesn't work.
Battery doesn't warm itself up before charging even when it knows it's gonna be charged (nav).
Frunk can't be opened with the electronic latch that they forced us to pay for.
I would feel better about my buggy...
