Turn Signal Switch Finish

Any one else dissatisfied with the finish where they put the plastic together on the turn signal? We have a distinct tang of plastic all around.
The finish on the wiper selector is fine.

Yeah, i rub it with my middle finger every time I'm in the car. I've noticed that it's going away, so it definitely wears down. I was going to take a 200 grit sandpaper to it, but that might not be necessary.

And also the sound it makes when the turn ends. It comes back as if it's broken

I took a file and some fine sandpaper to mine a couple days after delivery.

Take a piece of cloth, like part of an old shirt and use it to rub down the high parts. Just hold one end in one hand and the other end in your other hand and buff it out. I agree it was super annoying at first. Agree with the turn signal ‘click’ as well. First time I tough it broke the indicator.

Yeah, I do that too. Makes it feel a bit cheap.

Yup-it’s super “scratch”. I’m fussing with it every time I drive.

Glad I'm not the only one! I always end up "picking" at the high spots on the plastic. May work on smoothing it out at some point, definitely cheap feeling...

Same same. Both of the MMEs. I’m not fussy but it’s the ONE thing that I was annoyed with.

Agree. I tend to notice the “touch and feel” of things and have been impressed by pretty much everything in the Mustang Mach E except the stalks, they’re both sort of cheap and plasticy-feeling and the turn-signal one is rough feeling as you noted. I also don’t like the pointy rear-window wiper switch. The implementation of the switch on the Escape (sort of a rocker) felt much better.

I have to agree that the end of the turn signal lever feels like it was taken out of the mold with plastic flashing left on it.

I had to micro sand mine down to cut the rough edges.
