Man this sucks. I too was taking my car in for an ongoing issue for over a year and 9total visits to dealership. They were trying to charge me to update softwares of close to $1500 each time. I switched dealerships and my new rep told me the software updates should have been covered by Ford...
For real. Some people just like to him themselves. I like my car but the reality is this car has depreciated faster and at a higher rate than normal depreciation.
That may be true but I would recommend seeing what your car is worth now. 2 years ago my car was selling for about 32K - 35k. That’s now 50% of that price that it is worth. While most cars depreciate, these electric vehicles depreciate a lot faster.
Yea I definitely understand that. I just got an email from Tesla about the Cyber Truck starting at 59k. That could be a nice lease. We will see. I think I’ll keep it till at least the end of the year and just pay down the depreciation gap. It’s a nice car. I don’t mind keeping a little longer...
Honestly never thought of this. I only got it while I went back to school. I use to own a RTR Mustang and thinking to get a 5.0. But I don’t want one bad enough to cover the depreciation. Lol
Hi all. I have a 2021 Mach E GT. It currently has 54k miles on it. Mint condition. I’ve thought about trading it in for a 5.0 but with the amount that it’s depreciated financially just doesn’t make sense. Brand new the car was 64k. 5 years later it’s worth 17k - 21k depending on who’s offering...
Yes that makes sense to allow them to get back to you. Mine was denied with Ford and originally denied with BBB but under reinvestigation since they had something wrong in their research of the problem. Hoping with the updated info they can step in.
Hi, im going through the exact same issue. However my vehicle was still under the manufacture warranty when I first reported and to my car into the dealership. Ford has denied to lemon the vehicle and/or buy it back. The vehicle has been to a service location 10 times and they are now replacing...
If the vehicle was owned by the dealership it is extremely possible that it was involved in an accident and the A-Pillar was repaired internally. That would not have shown on the car-fax. The frontal collision fault is a common thing known by Ford. My vehicle has gone to the shop 5 times and set...
Thanks a lot for this response. Even if I didn’t purchase the vehicle new? I think in Texas where the car is registered the lemon law is only new cars or used cars under 24 months old. In regard to Fprd cooperate how should I contact them? I’ve reached out and have an open case with Ford EV...
Hi. I purchased my 2021 Mach E GT last April. Since I have taken my vehicle to the dealership 6 times for software concerns. My safety features (Lane keep, Frontal collision, blind spot, etc) will fault out intermittent. The vehicle was originally under warranty the first 3 times it went totally...
