Hey I had the same issue. It's over heating and cutting power. It's rated for 7kw when the yellow lights on it goes down to 5kw. And if hot enough goes down to 3kw. I complained and they sent me a new one

I'm in the same boat can't turn on updates, but I'm really not worried about it. They will eventually figure it out. Dealer told me there updating software was having issues and there is no eta on fix time. Dono if that's true or not

I don't use whisper because the regen isn't as strong but with less throttle response and less regen it can be more efficient
