Here in the Treasure Valley of Idaho (Boise and nearby cities) I see one or two MME's a week now. When I took home my first MME ('21 GT) back in October of '21, I didn't see another MME for months.
Definitely more Tesla's than any other EV here too. A few Rivians, probably just as many Kia's...
Interesting - I've been using a similar approach to charging mt '22 GT. I have it set to charge to 85% which it reaches sometime overnight. When I wake up in the morning to a notification that charging is complete, I press the "Charge to 100%" button. When I'm ready to leave a few hours or so...
It does seem to be an issue with the phone that Sync is not properly handling. As I found out when I posted this, rebooting the phone seemed to make it go away, at least for a while. I have upgraded my phone since this started and so far it has not happened again.
The point would be that the extension and the adapter would all be one unit - no extra connection point. So the adapter with a built on cable would be no more dangerous than just the adapter.
Just ordered mine - I actually got a call from my dealer sales rep before I got the notice from the forum. Cool of them, but my status shows mine won't ship until July.
Just did a forum search specifically for this - definitely want this also for exactly those reasons. In fact I stopped using 1PD full time because of this. Maybe there's a way to hard wire up a little red light to go on whenever the brake lights go on?
There's an alternative to 1PD that I didn't know about until someone posted about it, so I'll do the same and "pay it forward". Incidentally, I thought I would hate 1PD but decided to try it out with an open mind. Didn't take long before I was hooked and drove that way for a while. Besides...
I searched the forums and couldn't find any posts on this, so here goes.
While happily driving about town in my MME today, I noticed that the sound settings I had entered didn't seem to be what I was hearing - it sounded like everything was at default. (I'm a sound engineer on the side so I do...
Here in Idaho we just switched back to non-summer rates:
$.0804 up to 800 kWh
$.0886 from 801-2000 (I've never exceeded this tier)
$.0982 above 2000
No time of use or peak rates. Summer rates (June, July, August) are a little higher, 8.65/10.4/12.36 cents. It's a great place to own an EV...
I realize this is a side discussion to the main one we're having, but the all-season tires on the GT non PE was a significant factor when I chose it over the GTPE. That and real-world testing that pretty much showed no difference in 0-60 times between the two (contrary to the published times by...
Found this thread searching for info on this problem. It started today on my MME and I've never used Waze in this car or on my current phone, so it's not Waze, or at least not just Waze. Will try the fix above when I drive home later.
I'm in 1PD Whisper most of the time in my GT/Non PE. As mentioned above, the power is still there when I want it and the experience is smoother the rest of the time. Although, I've gotten the "Drive mode Unavailable " glitch a few times lately - guess it's time to search the forum on that
I chose the 45-60% bracket but I set the cap at 85% for my home charger. In general I plug in at most every other day, sometimes every 3rd or 4th day depending on how much driving I've done. I work from home a majority of the time - if I start commuting again my pattern will probably change.
