I didn't get the email, but I went to the Ford website and was able to get the 3 year plan for $600. My current trial subscription ends on 12/31/2023 so my credit card will be processed after that date and the new expiration date will be 01/01/2027.
Thanks for the tip. I've got a Job 1 2021 (built 12/2020) and I never received the email offer. The "Renew" button the website got me the three year rate (expiring 01/01/27) for $600 plus tax.
This sounds familiar. i live in Phoenix and the temperature in my west facing garage is more than 120 degrees almost every afternoon in the summer. Even though I charge after 11:00 pm, the garage is still 90 degrees or more overnight. I dialed my ChargePoint Home Flex back to 32 amps to minimize...
You're right about the text messaging. More than three hours into this, I got a call from Ford Roadside Assistance with a Tucson, AZ telephone number telling me the second towing company had cancelled and the request would (again) be "escalated". I later tried to call the Ford rep back at the...
@Ford Motor Company promises its Roadside Assistance provides “Peace of mind. All the time”. Really? We recently waited more than 4 hours for Ford Roadside Assistance and its towing companies to tow our 2021 Mach E from an IKEA parking lot to a Ford dealership. No one ever showed up. I finally...
I agree. We live in Phoenix, and the car makes plenty of noise charging in the garage on a hot summer night at 40 amps. Our ChargePoint Flex will do 48 amps (its on a 60 amp circuit) but we found 40 amps works just fine.
I got lucky. Mine died in an IKEA parking lot. I immediately called Ford Roadside Assistance (that's another story...What a joke) and while I was waiting, I popped the frunk so the tow truck driver could get access to the battery if necessary. Ford Roadside Assistance never sent a tow truck...
I've got a Job 1 2021 Premium RWD ER, and my 12 volt battery failed yesterday. If you can locate the number for the update, I'd appreciate it. The car was towed to the dealer and they said they would try to look at it on Monday. Thanks!
My 2021 (Job 1) MME is scheduled for service in two weeks for numerous front camera faults. I will also ask them about enabling the frunk release (it doesn't work with the emergency button in the frunk or using the keypad). Can anyone check to see if there are any another updates or faults in...
I would not pay for a subscription for the current Blue Cruise software in my Job 1 2021 Mach E Premium ER. I use it, but I wouldn't miss it if it went away. If the new Blue Cruise is as good as Ford says (and I hope to get to try it before my free subscription runs of at the end of this year)...
I've got a Job 1 2021 and the dealer applied the TSB on July 6, 2021. I too got the OTA update this week, so it's not a dumb question. Obviously, some folks who already got the TSB compliance at a dealership are getting an OTA update in June of 2023. I think it is a fair question to ask. Mine...
That's a good point. We've had our 2021 Job 1 Mach E more than 2 years and we signed up for the EV rate plan before the car was delivered. I'll call SRP to see if they can show me how to access the data. Thanks!
Where did you find the "Price plan comparison" option on the SRP website? I am on the EV Plan and I assumed it was the best deal, but I'd like to see what SRP says. Thanks!
We also have an Infinite Blue built in December 2020. We consider it a rarity since they stopped using that color before the model year was even over. :)
I have a Job1 1, a December 2020 build like an earlier reply. I had Blue Cruise installed by Sant Tan Ford in Gilbert, Arizona on April 28, 2022. It took two days, but they completed the installation and it works as designed.
That was one of my basic concerns when I started this thread more than a year ago. The temperature near the pavement is important for the battery and cooling systems, but (1) irrelevant (and misleading) to the occupants of the car and (2) inconsistent with every other Ford vehicle I have owned...
I know how NOAA and others measure "official" air temperature. That's not what we're talking about. The reason is Ford's placement of the temperature sensors near the pavement to monitor the battery health on the Mach E, while reporting that temperature to the driver as the air temperature one...
