I feel bad for some of y'all's parents. The anticipation of Santa coming must have been brutal on them.
How many "are we there yets" before dad threatened to turn the car around?
I didn't check the others but that is the left front door. It's been making noise for probably a year. I just assumed it was the door check until this post made me take a closer look.
I find it so strange to not think we need to reduce emissions. What's the down side? Cleaner air and water? And don't say cost. I see plenty of profiles here with well into six figures worth of cars in them.
Leave a place better than how you found it.
Some interesting takes on this in here, especially on an ev forum.
I'm all for it and while we're at it I want 220 at all my outlets please. Make it so.
Who makes the decision as to who's time is more important?
Full disclosure no, I wouldn't wait that long at a charger. Not only that if a trip required more than one charge stop wouldn't even take the Mach-e.
My front end has sounded like a box of rocks from day 1. Was told no problem found, no abnormal noises heard, when I brought it to the dealer back in '21. I've just attributed it to quality being job #1.
Nah. If I need 90%+ to get me home without having to stop again why should I be punished by having to pay more?
Not my fault the car won't charge any faster.
Should my standard range be charged at a higher rate than an extended range too since it can only handle a lesser rate of charge?
Interesting but maybe a flawed study? In my unsientific observations I've seen the brake pads on models with hybrid drivetrains(with regen braking) easily last double the mileage of their non hybrid equivelents.
Thanos did nothing wrong.
And you should be walking into the GM's office and handing him/her that quote. The dealer should 100% pay. If you feel the need to lawyer up its probably not a bad idea. DO NOT sign any work order giving them permision to begin the repair. This should all be handled internally by the dealer, the...
2 years 15k. Not my favorite car I've owned (protege 5) and too soon to say if it's the best. Flawless? No, but it's a solid choice for a bev.
I'm firm believer if you go looking for trouble, trouble will find you. Stop data logging your trips and just drive...you know who you are.
I don't know about Ford but I do know the Lexus/Toyota (and probably subaru) HV battery health check procedure is a 2-3 day even that involves completetly dishcarging the hv battery, wait 90 mins, fully charge using L2 ac charger only, wait 60 minutes and then you run the actual health check...
If only there was some numerical based system we could use to refer to air temperature. Ford weather reports, "Today is cool for late June but warm if it was January"
Nah, the next generation of electric vehicles having more range, faster charging, better performance and better value is what will kill the resale value.
Auto is not nearly as intelligent as it should be. In warm temps with the a/c on auto, if the system thinks it's getting "too cold" in the cabin it fires up the eheat to compensate.
How about looking at the outside air temp and then just shut off or duty cycle the compressor and let the sun...
