  1. New Mach E Range

This is a UK thread and in the UK we don't have window stickers.
  2. UK Customers

Showing "delivered by 31st October" in Ford's online shop.
  3. UK Customers: Yet another OTA Poll ☺

Hi Tony, not sure if you need a third option - had problem resolved by Ford and now receiving OTA updates. We were not receiving OTA updates on our First Edition built March 2021 purchased August 2021. Following the many posts here and on Facebook we felt there was a problem and decided to try...
  4. VIN starting with a W

As already stated the manufacturer part of the VIN can be manipulated for numerous reasons; we are all aware that healthcare, police, education, politicians etc like to manipulate figures to meet 'targets'. European MME's are manufactured for Ford of Europe which is headquartered in Cologne...

WBAC has valued our First Edition with 6k miles at £37k. Similar on Autotrader are mostly on sale at £49k with the odd one in the mid 40s.
  6. UK Key

There is an insurance classification reason for the Ford key. The US (Mustang) key transmits a signal 'continually' therefore to stop criminals intercepting the signal you need to place the key in a container / RFID blocking pouch when not in use. The UK (Ford) has a sensor and when it detects...
  7. UK Customers

Hi, I am the same as you with a service plan and extended warranty. At year 1 I had a lengthy discussion with the Ford service plan team and received the answer that: 1. The service plan does not cover the inspection / convenience services. 2. The breakdown cover only runs for 1 year...

The cost varies between dealers some charge the same as they would for an ICE vehicle whilst others discount it. In my case full cost quoted was £95 but because it was an EV it was discounted to £65.
  9. LHD & RHD Rearview Mirror & Housing differences ?

I have also seen that they are currently working on a RHD version.
  10. Having Problem with digital Speedo metre

I doubt this will be a technical issue with your car. This speed shown on the dashboard is dependant upon the car seeing any relevant speed limit sign. So if the first 20 speed limit sign was obscured by anything, for example a parked van or you overtaking a lorry, then the display would not be...

You have the same issue with some ICE Ford vehicles, our S-Max needed servicing every 2 years. The solution is to have an "inspection service" at a Ford dealer that offers Ford Assist (not all do). The cost quoted for the Mach-E varies from £65 - £295; some dealers just seem to be quoting ICE...

We are also not receiving updates; are you referring to 22S41 - BATTERY ENERGY CONTROL MODULE SOFTWARE UPDATE as we have had the 22-2166 update applied a month ago.
  13. Reg. Plates.

We got the bumper plugs from bumperplugs.com in the US. I have a stackry account so had them delivered free to there and then used Stackry to get the cheapest delivery to me.
  14. Reg. Plates.

We don't have the Ford mounts (front or rear) on ours. We stuck the plates, admittedly standard size, on with Velcro Brand Heavy Duty Stick on Black Tape from Amazon. We asked the dealer to not fit the mounts but they did so had to buy some bumper plugs to fill the holes. We did this 12 months...
  15. Anyone part of the Mustang Owners Club of Great Britain with *just* a Mach-E?

I know at the moment there are a large number of requests to join so it may take a few days.
  16. Anyone part of the Mustang Owners Club of Great Britain with *just* a Mach-E?

Should have said you will find them on Facebook and it's free to join.
  17. Anyone part of the Mustang Owners Club of Great Britain with *just* a Mach-E?

A number of people from here are members of Simple Mustangs UK, a very welcoming group.

    Think it is 22-2166.
  19. Scotland's North Coast 500 route

Not driven it in our Mach-E but drove it in 2016 in our S550 Mustang. Found https://www.northcoast500.com/ to be very useful and notice that they currently point people to ChargePlace Scotland for details of EV charging information along NC500. Hope you have lots of fun, we certainly enjoyed it.

Think he means PPF (paint protection film) which is effectively a clear wrap. Can have all or part of your car done and the top quality ones are self healing - if the wrap is damaged by a stone chip it will repair itself. It's expensive but you can guarantee that if you do a partial wrap to save...
