I have a personal reg. number only 5 digits and i am going to use shorter number plates, perfectly legal, but will look silly on the existing Ford mountings. I would like to obtain a new pair, front and rear, of the mountings so I can slice a piece out of the middle.
I've done a search but can't find the part numbers anyone able to help, thanks in advance, Dennis.

Rear -
Ford Mustang Mach-E Reg. Plates. 1660470422650

Front - part number for the North American (NAAO) and European (EAO) market are the same, but the part is clearly different.

We don't have the Ford mounts (front or rear) on ours. We stuck the plates, admittedly standard size, on with Velcro Brand Heavy Duty Stick on Black Tape from Amazon. We asked the dealer to not fit the mounts but they did so had to buy some bumper plugs to fill the holes. We did this 12 months ago and the car gets washed regularly using a pressure washer and they are still holding strong.

Also considered a Sto 'n' Sho number plate holder but was not 100% convinced it would not interfere with the cooling vents.

Thanks for the replies. I am using the heavy duty Velco to attach the plates to the exist mounts, yes it does work a treat, maybe I'll try that without the mounts, are the plugs easy to get hold of ?

We got the bumper plugs from bumperplugs.com in the US. I have a stackry account so had them delivered free to there and then used Stackry to get the cheapest delivery to me.
