Just FYI, I have been dealing with this issue since delivery in December of 21. Its happened three times so far… At this point Im just tired of posting but Im still having these problems as well.
If you go back to my post months ago i stated this and people were like no way thats an issue. It was such a small issue compared to my battery control issue i never even mentioned it to the service dept. good thing ford is realizing it though. Now i can get it fixed.
Absolutley correct. And on top of that I have a two year old and a 2 month old. Imagine me getting stuck on the highway? I went with Ford so that Id have confidence and I just don’t have it. We are using the ICE suv now for trips because if the MME breaks down out of state what then? You know?
Update:
Ford customer service nor the dealer would help me get into a rental that was equivalent to the MME so with about an hour on the phone and aggravated I called Tasca to grab my car ready or not. I cant get groceries in this thing and my stroller flys around the back and is destroyed.
no...
I have stopped using remote start. When i use it, my settings are never initiated and it logs in and starts as guest. Then then when you exit the car and shut it off the lights stay on. You have to to back in the car to the light control which has nothing lit up. Turn the dial once then the car...
Update:
Spoke to service advisor Eric and he told me Ford had already called him prior to the car getting there and they already made arrangements for a specialist to look at the vehicle. Next update will be Tuesday May 17th.
In the meantime they gave me a F150 as a rental which is all they...
You guys can read my original thread right here from when it happened the first time.

Now to my absolute disbelief it happened again RIGHT BEFORE WORK. When i tell you my aggravation level is...
UPDATE:
it has happened yet AGAIN to me. Says “stop safely now”. Lets see how long this takes to fix. I will be making another thread and will post it here with a new link.
your car has to be off the road for 30 days in order for them to make payments. Odds are it will 100% be off the road for more than 30 days so you just need to create a case with ford customer support.
For me, its the smile on my face everytime I unleash 600 foot pounds of instant torque. But everyone is different. I test drove a base version and then ordered the GT.
Yea haha if they want everything to take forever to load.
Sometimes its unbarable for me.
And its hot out or cold out when you first startt he car? Forget about getting the HVAC going for the first 1-2 minutes. Everything just freezes. (At least for me)
Mustang owners really do get mad at us for the name like we picked it??
It could have been named Explorer sport EV, Broncosport EV, or just Mach E in general and we still would have bought it. (Its not the name we bought it for but the looks, range, and specs etc)
Same with me waiting for a tow truck. Left me stranded for 8 hours before a tow truck picked it up.
Took a whole month and a few days to get back
Best of luck to you and keep us updated
Speaking from experience and having the rear sensor lift gate in new england…. It gets all dirty and never works for me anyways. The time it takes to kick under neath multiple times and look stupid to whoevers watching id rather just push the open the lift gate.
