  1. Problems "long-term" with Mach E

I'm at almost 4 years and 100k miles. Except for some factory defects (mine was built during COVID) and a couple things I did to it, my car is BETTER now than when it was new, thanks to OTA updates. I often tell people to buy used because the #1 problem isn't wear and tear, it's defects, so a...
  2. Confessions of a Mach-E Addict: A Self-Diagnostic Report

Same here. My brother has an EV6 and has watched me have a HVBJB repair, faulty cameras, 2 faulty APIM modules, a defective parking brake (that they wouldn't even cover under warranty), and so on, and he thinks there's something wrong with me. I love this car so much.
  3. 2025: The SUPER POLL is BACK

Top unlisted things I want: PnC uses membership prices at EA and Tesla Disable the auto-shutoff option from turning back on every time you start the car (if I want it off I will tell it to turn off) (Pipe dream) I REALLY want electrochromatic roof tint to become a common option on EVs with pano...
  4. What should have Ford called it?

I'd call it the Ford Morgan. A Morgan is a horse breed, one of the first to be created in the USA. Mostly a workhorse, but fast enough to run races. The Mach-E doesn't really drive like a Mustang, and it's strong enough that it deserves its own horse brand IMO. I like the sound of "Morgan"...
  5. Original 2021 Owners - Check In

Don't know if I count or not - I bought a Premium 4x in November '21, loved it so much that I ordered a GT. Due to COVID shenanigans, my dealer bought the Premium back for what I paid for it - but I kept the $7500 tax break, which mostly funded the upgrade. 85k miles on the new '22 GTPE and...
  6. Confirmed Mach-E GT Performance Edition 19" Wheel / Rim Fitment

I find the ride a little bit smoother, and get just enough more efficiency to be noticeable, but the suspension is so rough it'll never be a luxury ride. IMO tires and inflation make more of a difference, but if you're already doing those and still want more, switching to 19s can be an improvement.
  7. What do you feel is the best range for an EV?

I apologize, I realize I had some bad reading comprehension, and thought you were going to *South* Dakota, not *North*. I'm less familiar with I-90 and 94, so you might be fine. Most of my issues have been trying to take I-80. The CCS chargers in Casper and Gillette have been broken for a...
  8. What do you feel is the best range for an EV?

Sorry for butting in, just wanted to let you know that I regularly travel WY and SD (I live in Salt Lake and have family in South Dakota and Minneapolis), and NONE of the Supercharger stations in that region are V3, so we can't use them. That area is honestly pretty sketch, and more than once...
  9. BlueCruise 1.3 IS HERE!!

My memory is a little fuzzy, but IIRC '21 and '22 models were advertised with a $600/3 year renewal after their trial ends, and AFAIK Ford is honoring that deal. I probably should have been more specific.
  10. BlueCruise 1.3/1.4 delivery poll

Some of us Job 1 2022s are getting 1.3, even without EA. The first few it looks like all have July build dates. Let's hope we're all finally getting upgraded!
  11. BlueCruise 1.3 IS HERE!!

Let's hope! I almost got it last year when it was *supposed* to roll out - I got 2 out of the 3 updates that were supposed to install it, then they postponed it until now.
  12. BlueCruise 1.3 IS HERE!!

Update: The update said it would take 70 minutes, but it was done in about 30. 1.3 is amazing! I can't really add much to what other reviewers have said, but for those that want another opinion: I'm used to having to do a routine when I start it, where I spend a few seconds letting it find the...
  13. BlueCruise 1.3 IS HERE!!

TBH I havent paid much attention recently, but I think it was 6.4.3.
  14. BlueCruise 1.3 IS HERE!!

Hit "update now", it's still working. Gonna take it for a spin as soon as it's done and report back.
  15. BlueCruise 1.3 IS HERE!!

Yeah, sorry if this is a duplicate thread. All I'd seen is that some of the EAP people had gotten it. I just double-checked and I'm will waitlisted. I've been on 1.0 this whole time, so this is super exciting. Hopefully this means it's rolling out for EVERYONE now.
  16. BlueCruise 1.3 IS HERE!!

Just got a software update for BC 1.3! '22 Job 1, not early access!
  17. FordPass frunk button starts car alarm

As the title says, using the new FordPass app to open the frunk regularly triggers my car alarm. The more annoying part is that there doesn't seem to be a manual "alarm off" option in the app, so you have to walk up to your car and open/close the door to get it to stop. (In fairness, you have...
  18. Matching Vinyl Wrap for Cyber Orange Metallic Tricoat?

Sorry I missed your reply! Haven't been on the forums for a bit. No, I wasn't really able to find a real color match - the problem I couldn't get around is the metallic tri-tone will slightly shift color depending on the light. The closest I could find was the TECKWRAP Glossy Sunflower, but...
  19. CSP 22P31 - Replace the Electronic Parking Brake Harness Connector

Ugh. I just got this now. Car's stuck in park in my apartment's garage. My car's been at the dealer about a dozen times over the past year for other issues. If they're supposed to proactively replace it, why hasn't it been done? I'm almost wishing I'd gotten a Model Y now...
  20. Buying a Mach-E and making Uber pay for it

That's awesome! I'm glad to have made an impact! To give my own update, I've since moved to full-time. So far the Mach-E seems to be holding up really well! Riders in my area get very confused about the door buttons (though most of them really like it once they figure it out), so I've had to...
