2025: The SUPER POLL is BACK

2025 is here, and with it the Dawn of a New Golden Age of Mach E Ownership. That’s right - the SUPER POLL is back, baby!

Prior iterations here (2022) and here (2023) and here (2024). It’s a new year, and it’s time to remind @Ford Motor Company what software fixes and enhancements we really want.

So here's the deal. There are 23 options. All great ideas. You get to pick up to 10. Why can't you pick more? Because the idea is to learn which enhancements truly mean the most to the incredibly sophisticated and discerning segment of Mach E ownership represented on this board.

Once we hit at least 250 votes, the results will be personally presented to Jim Farley in the form of boombox outside his bedroom window. He’ll have to listen to us.

Several of our prior requests have become reality. So VOTE. Otherwise you’re gonna keep getting stuff like Stingray Karaoke…

Items from prior Super Polls that Ford has delivered:

• BC1.0 OTA Update
• One tap access to cams while parking (top ribbon)
• Video apps (well, YouTube at least)
• Portrait mode Apple CarPlay / Android Auto
• Make FordPass more responsive, cleaner, better organized (arguable, but last year’s refresh was a decent improvement even if the darned Home Screen still SCROLLS)
• Ability to open frunk with FordPass
• Make volume knob multi-function to adjust HVAC
• Automatic preconditioning to public chargers set in route
• Provide easy way to override max charge and go to 100% (arguably improved with new FordPass)
• Make PAAK more reliable (it has definitely gotten better)
• BC1.2/1.3 OTA update
• Fix the remote start to guest profile bug
• Fix the missing radio preset bug
• More games
• Ditch the dumb clipart buttons on the top ribbon (house for app tray, etc.)
• Better release notes (they’re getting better)
• Setting custom climate control for remote start in FordPass (just added in Jan 2025!)

Popular items we’ve been requesting for several years, still undelivered:

• Detailed charging status on IPC/Sync while public charging)
• Customizations to IPC, such as energy usage
• Pet Mode
• Set “safe zones” such as garage to disable walk-away lock
• Ability to pin items to top ribbon of Home Screen
• Ability to permanently toggle off interior motion sensors
• Calm screen wallpaper options
• reduce Sync lag
• Sync/FordPass detailed fault codes and other FORScan data
• Expand the 5-second limit

And stuff we didn’t ask for, and don’t care about:

• Karaoke
• Socks
• Eh, now I’m just being mean…

The one feature you missed: Honk/Chirp when inflating tires when you get to the correct tire pressure.

Top unlisted things I want:

• PnC uses membership prices at EA and Tesla
• Disable the auto-shutoff option from turning back on every time you start the car (if I want it off I will tell it to turn off)
• (Pipe dream) I REALLY want electrochromatic roof tint to become a common option on EVs with pano roofs
