I got the sticker, agreed that it's only incrementally better than a plate but I like keeping the smooth contour of the front AND not drilling into my beautiful, beautiful car.
I get you're pissed and I would be too. But this, right here, isn't that the opposite of trolling? Isn't proactively finding people with problems and fixing them just good customer service?
Looking forward to it.
And out in the real world, I have not encountered any actual hostility from Mustang owners. A little bit of a raised eyebrow... and it's clear most don't think it's a "true" Mustang... but they've been nice about it, curious about it, and want to talk about it and learn...
I joined for the discount. I would stay joined but the snottiness is too much to bear. If that's how they feel, then y'know... f-em. They can do without my renewal money.
Gatekeepers are the worst part of any fanbase, for anything.
I drive many of the same roads, especially 280, and I've been pretty happy with BlueCruise... but I don't consider it a self-driving option so much as enhanced driver assist. Even when it's hands-off I often have a hand on the wheel and make subtle corrections - unlike your car stubbornly...
I have nothing to add to above info except to say it's probably going to be WAY less stressful than you think (unless you will be crossing a "charging desert," just prepare accordingly).
New to this myself.
1) I put Hybrid Solutions Ceramic on a month ago and it's held up super well (have done one wash since, plus some spot detailing here and there). I do have a butter wax (Chemical Guys) I am going to apply after my next wash to see if it gets even more sparkle. I doubt it...
This happened to me with Blue Cruise once as well. It hit the line, crossed it briefly, but also knew it -- it went red on that side and played the alert tone. And that's just mystifying. I can kind of understand if the system was "confused" and couldn't recognize the line (it would not inspire...
I got an email. I have a '22 and apparently they come with one month of complimentary Ford Streaming, which I have now used up. But, I've read very little about what it does. The email itself makes it sound purely Alexa-related... but... I also can't imagine that people will pay an additional...
I can't seem to find a definitive answer, but it seems to me this is something purely Alexa-related? Or am I missing something?
Context: My "complimentary" Ford Streaming is about to expire and I honestly have no idea what it might be doing for me, or why I'd want to renew it (I don't use Alexa).
I have a 22 but otherwise same specs ER/AWD/exclusive 2-pedal driver and haven't noticed this at all. Maybe sometimes I brake a little harder than I expected, based on previous cars, but that doesn't happen too much. I'm coming from a Prius where I am used to trying a light touch on the brakes...
It's not a matter of love or hate, I don't get why the icon has to be there whether you want it or not. It should be optional (and I would opt to remove it). It's amazing that Ford has hidden its own logo, yet puts Alexa right in front of your face, 100% of the time, whether you want it or not.
From "shipped" to arrival at my Bay Area dealer was 36 days. Longest part was the KC-Bay Area stretch. Assuming it ships within a couple of days that seems like an accurate window... although I imagine there are wildcard factors that can slow it down or speed it up.
