Not to resurrect a dead thread, but can you use the normal USB-C port to simply power and use the MacBook? Not necessarily to recharge the battery, but to use a (mostly) charged MacBook without draining it? And would that mess with the car and/or the laptop in any way?

Thanks, I've checked the VINs for some other cars on the lot listed on my dealer's website -- including the two in-stock Mach Es -- and pretty much all of them show up on the United Roads tracker as "delivered" to my dealer. If nothing changes by mid-week I'll call Ford and/or my dealer.
