It would be interesting to know what are the rules for driving a car off the assembly line, to say a storage lot, that doesn't have all of its chips. Aren't some chips pretty critical or they tend to be for the accessories like heated seats, etc.

Just checked my order in ford, the pricing summary just updated to the new MSRP, no longer showing the MSRP that I ordered at 8 months ago, which was still showing last week. Making me wonder if they decided to screw us over?

There are a plenty of posts on this forum that explain how the price protection works

If it says inactive, it means car not yet in possession. If it says pending pickup without any dates, it means it's ready to be picked up but not yet in line for pickup. Then wait couple hours or a day, it will then say pending pickup with a delivery date to your dealer.

EDIT: Then it will say InRoute until the car is delivered to the dealer

Perhaps your car will not be delivered via United Roads.? Maybe you can give me a VIN of any new Ford vehicle from your dealer's website. I can check whether United Road comes up with anything.

Thanks, I've checked the VINs for some other cars on the lot listed on my dealer's website -- including the two in-stock Mach Es -- and pretty much all of them show up on the United Roads tracker as "delivered" to my dealer.

If nothing changes by mid-week I'll call Ford and/or my dealer.

It doesn't show up at all. (By contrast, my car's VIN appeared in Palsapp weeks before it actually shipped)

I went to your dealer's website, "sunnyvale ford", and checked the cars at dealer's lot. Some of the cars showed inactive as well, so your dealer could be using another company for the last leg of the transport.

EDIT: unless none of the cars on the website have been delivered....

I checked the cars at Lenoir City ford lot. They do use United Roads.
