The wires are normally tucked behind that foam in the fender. When they remove the rocker covers, they have to pull those out and disconnect and just didn't tuck back behind the foam after install. Looks like your foam may be pushed back (not positioned correctly)most likely to get to the connector
FDRS can be screwy at times, I got the powertrain updates a couple days ago via OTA and they no longer showed on FDRS, only had BCM, DSM and GWM. After running DSM, BCM & GWM update, all the powertrain modules updates showed back up in FDRS. I re-ran network test then they all disappeared and...
Did the updates actually "take"? Meaning after update complete and you got to the "validation screen" did everything PASS?
Or wait, re-reading your original post, you never updated anything but the multiple Powertrain modules from the PCM update?
What is the reason 21G01 is on HOLD?
I only wondered and speculated because the day these new updates for new UI came out, 21G01 was advised NOT to be performed on Mach E
@scoopman , I'm starting to wonder if these errors are why they put a HOLD on 21G01. Maybe has something to do with not being compatible with MY21 cars. My MY22 GT had GWM update, once completed, APIM showed up, then once APIM was done, another GWM showed up. All completed fine with no DTCs.
The hose for the rear does run up the left a-pillar and above drivers door, maybe the hose has come loose from a clip in a-pillar and is banging around when pressure is applied
