Traded my 2021 Job 1 RWD Select a couple of months ago for a 2024 Select AWD, Extended range with comfort package. I miss from my Job 1: 1) Power Lifgate, 2) Power sideview mirrors. What I love on the 2024: 1 & 2) Better suspension (may just be newer?) and better seats (less head bobbing), 3 &...
I used to drive a Chevette!! My first car, it could barely do 60 mph especially on an incline!! Now I have all the torque in the world and I only have the RWD select MachE!! So either Ioniq is retro or the Chevette was way ahead of itās time? Or both!
Those of you at 20K+, how are your tires wearing? I'm at 12.3K, delivered 2/2021; already between 3 and 4/32-rotated 6 months ago. Will need to replace all four before the rainy monsoon season starts. We have pretty bad roads here in town, combined with hot weather in AZ and my driving style, I...
No, there was not a resolution. It opened again one day and has been problem free since. I'm kinda glad that you are reporting it though, so its not just my imagination and it did not happen to me only. I just don't believe anything I had inside jammed it shut and believe its a flaw in the...
My day of reckoning came this week. Took my car in for tire rotation after 7 months, 5500 miles. Fronts: 7/32, Rears: 5/32!!!! Guy says I will need new tires in 3 months! Was having fun enjoying my Mach E Select, RWD: driving aggressively, jack rabbits starts, cornering and heavy 1-pedal regen...
This is almost exactly what I wanted! Solid roof (live in AZ), 360/BC (want tech), RWD (live in desert, longer range, still great 0-60), Select (within my price range). Iām glad Ford gave us so many choices!!
<Example of oddity - if you want a solid roof + Co-Pilot 360/BlueCruise - You either...
Thanks for doing all the legwork-or phone work to figure this out. I have the car and package you have too and Iām disappointed that they couldnāt just include HD radio in the select. I actually appreciate the sub stations and like you said, older regular cars take advantage of FM going digital...
So, I did somethingā¦.Iām not sure what, but yesterday I was able to slide the cover open easily like there was never a problem!!! If I wanted to ālockā it again, I wouldnāt know how. Iām tellin ya, itās some sort of hidden feature, the ability to lock that compartment!! Perhaps a future...
Thanks for looking for me. In this case it must be failure of the flex cover to flex around the corner. Guess I have to take it in. For such a silly small thing!!! Unless anyone has any other ideas??!!
OK, I will try that. Just to help me out, can you or someone else please look inside your console to see where the cover slides down the back, is it totally exposed to the contents? I never got a good look before this jam happened. I have a hard case for my sunglasses in there. Do you think...
Thanks for the suggestion. I tried that in a parking garage on a down incline and all I can tell you is that this car has solid brakes!! No joy....cover remains jammed.
Hi!
Does anybody have a suggestion on how to open the center console sliding door when itās jammed shut? Not sure if itās a malfunction or something inside is jamming it from opening. It doesnāt have a lock, right?
