This is going to be me tomorrow. Checking the widget constantly for whether Milton has come out of his 5 days of deep sleep…extrapolating to whether or not I’ll have my car back by the evening…questioning what sort of error signals will come flying to my phone when he’s on the operating...
Life is funny.
12:30pm - text service advisor for an update
1:10pm - post on this thread
1:30pm - initiate chat with the Ford bot to open a case, entering my VIN (thanks @benk016 )
1:40pm - chat starts
1:45pm - service advisor writes saying the part will be here tomorrow
After my August 29th update. and having been told the part would be here 6-Sep, I got the update yesterday on the 6th that the part is now on backorder. No estimated delivery time yet...so my car sits in the lot...waiting.
Has anyone been successful in getting an ETA for HVJB part...
I am in the same boat here with my 2021 Premium Extended Range AWD, Job-1 Build at ~15,000 miles. I got the SVS last week Tuesday (8/23) along with the "Powertrain Malfunction / Reduced Power" and "High-Voltage Battery Warning." I'd had the same errors pop up a week prior upon starting the car...
I had another rogue charge to 100% last night. I’m going to clear out Home as a charging location and re-establish it. When I check out previous locations I am seeing two spots where we have been parked WITHOUT charging that FordPass thinks is a previous charge location.
Mine did a rogue charge to 100% last night too. I confirmed both my app settings and car settings showed 90% limit when charging at Home. However the charge log shows like it didn’t register that it was charging at Home.
While I guess that explains it, it’s a strange bug. Home still appears as...
@Jbkimmel sorry to hear this. I’m keeping my fingers crossed as the temp for our morning drive tomorrow is -19F. Which dealership are you using? I purchased at Inver Grove Ford here and Eric has been my service advisor. Plus or minus the supply chain back orders they have been pretty helpful...
I have noticed a bit less powerful braking toward the start of my driving as the weather has gotten colder. My friend owns a Tesla and said his 1PD basically shuts off in very cold weather until the battery warms up a bit and can take in the charge from the regen. I wonder if the Mach E...
I hope yours resolves soon @JeffGo ! We head back to South Dakota just after Christmas and I’m going to brave trying the same fast charger location where I last had contact before I lost the server connection…gotta see if it’s causal. But just like you’re describing, from inside the car...
I didn’t notice it for a long time, and then found that it only worked consistently for me on the passenger side. I took it to the dealer and they fixed it free of charge with a module update. It has worked flawlessly since. I had used the 9-0 or FOB prior to the fix…it’s nicer now to have it...
Well we are safe and home. No issue with connecting to a fast charger…but still no connectivity to the car within the FordPass app :(
Maybe tomorrow. Or Tuesday.
Thanks all, will post if any action on my end resolves this…
Thank you @timbop - a FP server issue seems manageable!
In the course of troubleshooting with no success I unplugged the trickle charge…started the car…stopped the car…connected to WiFi…plugged the charger back in… checked the app between each iteration.
Fingers crossed ??
We have a 4 hr winter drive home in Milton the Mustang today. After a long fast charge session last night, something went wonky. I drove home after the fast charge, plugged into the trickle charge (120V) where we are staying, and when checking the app before bed it says “Charge Paused” along the...
Hello friends. In Minnesota here my obsessive app checking and state-of-charge/GOM assessments have given me an alternative to checking my weather app.
90% at <160 miles…must be below freezing!
85% at 180 miles…must be almost 50!
Has anyone else been finding themselves checking the temperature...
