While I think a single keyfob is beyond ridiculous, I solved this problem for $200 by buying a remote and having the dealership program it. Should I have had to do that? No. Should I have not done that so I could just be unhappy about it forever and live with the inconvenience? Also no.

I've had several reputable dealerships tell me they can't do it, and I'm not brave enough to just drive it up to a Valvoline or Munro :D

Sorry, I wasn't clear that was a new development today. Before we signed the deal they said they'd get the body shop to touch it up. Today that has changed to "we'll give you the touch up pen". We screwed up by not getting that in writing in the deal that it was an open item that they "owe us".

The dealership is in MA but I am a NH resident so I don’t have any state tax to pay on the vehicle. You are correct that we are financing 7500 less, so there is that. i’m hopeful that once I actually have the car my negative feelings about the transaction will subside and we can just enjoy it.
