I downgraded my chargepoint current limit to 20 amps. that way it will charge slowly but also charge the 12v battery for the entire time. My car is 3.5 years old now and I do not have any 12v battery issues.

I ended up installing 2(40amp) breakers(for my use case). Had it inspected and passed the inspection. My utility company has rebate with chargepoint during off peak hours(3.8 cents per kwh, regular rate is 18 cents) Now I can sleep. Thanks all for your valuable insights.

Tough call. Usually most people who own a truck will need it for only 10% of the time. But hey, you need it when you need it. Not sure how big of a deal is, but lightning takes more energy to go same distance as Mach E.

Are you saying you approved the price before they actually did the servicing ? In that case there is nothing much you can do now.

Usually they will show/get your approval for the servicing they do. They will call us to make sure we are okay with they price, before they do anything out of the ordinary. Tell them to its a rip off and you are not okay with it. Talk to the manager. They should have got your approval...

Yeah, something is off. Can we see the picture of the bill. Also they should not do any expensive servicing without your approval. This is more than a expensive gas car servicing.

Yeah, no road trips in a ev. You can not practically plan for the unknowns. EV's(non Tesla) are good for round town and commuting (not sure about Tesla). Add in cold weather, and it becomes embarrassing.
