I downgraded my chargepoint current limit to 20 amps. that way it will charge slowly but also charge the 12v battery for the entire time.
My car is 3.5 years old now and I do not have any 12v battery issues.
Was thinking from long time and finally did it today.
I did not liked the skinny tires from the beginning, so decided to install GT(non PE) wheels on my 2022 AWD premium Ext.
While I am at that, I also splurged on EV specific tires at discount tires(price matched with walmart)

Hi I recently noticed this on my 22 Mach E, Showed it to the local Ford dealer, they say "it's just normal" and I have to just ignore and live with it.
Now that I know it's there, I can not NOT look. My biggest fear is, if it will develop over the time and be a pain after the warranty period(5...
I ended up installing 2(40amp) breakers(for my use case).
Had it inspected and passed the inspection.
My utility company has rebate with chargepoint during off peak hours(3.8 cents per kwh, regular rate is 18 cents)

Also they should not do any expensive servicing without your approval.
This is more than a expensive gas car servicing.

EV's(non Tesla) are good for round town and commuting (not sure about Tesla).
Add in cold weather, and it becomes embarrassing.
I went in to a automated car wash and the charge port door opened in the middle of it(Not sure how)
Soapy water jets and blow dryer hit the port.
Car appears to be working fine. I put in the plug and it charges fine then removed the plug.
Do I need to be worried. can I charge it ?
Should I...
