You were correct, it was an overload of the circuit. I tried it on different circuits, and it works. And I learned something new about my house. Apparently, the garage and one power outlet on the opposite side of the house are on the same circuit.
thanks, but there is absolutely nothing plugged in besides the charger - not even a LED light anymore. It’s the same outlet I used for the last year. And the second outlet I tried is closer to the fuse box but same circuit. I will try to use the charger at a different circuit tomorrow.
Not sure what is going on, but I used the mobile charger for a long time - my commute is not that long. But now when I plug it in, there is a small red light for a short moment on one side and a clicking sound, but then it starts glowing blue and charging begins and 30 seconds later the fuse of...
I have exactly the same issue. It pretty much happens every day on the way to work. I am using unbridled as the default too because it feels like an old fashioned "engine brake" driving in the city. Then suddenly I get the message, the driver display changes - it loses the "unbridled look". That...
Guess that will work in this instance. But I guess than I lose the display of the currently active speed limit in the display permanently too?
I have to check how quick the setting can be changed - maybe turning it off for long distance highway driving because the recognition is unreliable and...
So, I have done another road trip up the I5 and used BlueCruise a lot. The system itself is great but I got one big complaint. It reads sometimes speed limits for cars with trailers and trucks and applies them. So, essentially you are cruising in the left lane, speed limit set to 80 and distance...
Hey, anyone interested in my lighted logo?
As I got the vinyl on the front, I am pretty sure I would have to redo it if I would install it - so, I probably won't. If you're interest, message me.
I wish it would do the more difficult accessible things.
1) OK Ford, open frunk
2) OK Ford, open trunk (or hatch)
3) OK Ford, find a closer charger on the route
4) OK Ford, switch drive mode to whisper/engage/unbridled
5) OK Ford, turbo boost
6) OK Ford, super pursuit mode
1+2) would be...
I looked at that, but the issue is that it is more a townhouse style setup with multiple attached garages and houses. I am pretty sure these things live in the walls. I put out like 8 Terro traps and some others around the garage. Death to the queen!
Googling "ants electric cars" brings up tons of topics from Teslas to Leafs and Bolts. Apparently, they love charging cables. I am glad now there were not as many ants on my cable and car as in the video below.
I will definitely get combat gel and put it on the cable .... or have the cable go...
Thanks, I will try baking the car in the sun, a car wash and then parking at a different spot first. They only had from yesterday 10pm to this morning 8am - who knows how quick they are establishing themselves. But having spent my first 90 work minutes educating myself about ants, they appear...
This morning I went to unplug my car and there was a stream of ants going up the charging cable. I unplugged and drove to work and check a few times. It seems they are coming out of some crevices in the frunk and may have started a nest!?
*panic* can you tent a car?! I will spray some ant killer...
