Did you get your XC40 Recharge yet? It was a tough choice going with the EV6. I personally liked the XC40 Recharge better but my wife got the nod for the EV6. I think you will really enjoy the XC40-Recharge.

I agree that the MME looks a bit better. The EV6 GT cost the same as the Premium but is s 2022 and is not a Ford. I am biased against Ford given how I was treated by them and the dealer. I think the MME is a good car.

FYI - Kia EV6 will be arriving at Kia dealers next week. We have a deposit on the Volvo XC40 Recharge and the Kia EV6. They are both due in 2/18/2022. We will probably go with the Volvo. Maybe the fiasco with the MME is a blessing.

I do plan on sending a letter to Ford detailing the events. I will also call Ford and provide the details.

I suspect that to be the case but of course we cannot prove it. I will send a letter to Ford detailing what happened and I have submitted a review of Corwin on Google. Nothing more we can do but put it behind us. These are crazy times!

NP. The MME was our 1st choice and the XC40 Recharge was #2. The Recharge is due in 2-18-2022 and is a model year 2022. We got lucky a caught a cancellation. The MME is a 2021 with a sketchy history. My latest understanding is that the 12V battery died making the car a brick about 2 months...

My 2021 MME Premium has not shown up yet either. We got our deposit back 1/28/2022 and now have a 2022 XC40 Recharge due in 2/18/2022. My current understanding is our MME has been a brick since 12/2/2021 and is located somewhere near SLC.

My final update. We walked away from the 2021 MME Premium on 1/28/2022 because of non-delivery with no anticipated delivery date or history (accounting) of what the car has been through. The last information we got from the dealer, which was on the day we informed them we were walking away...

Thanks I tried that and googling my VIN for stolen cars. Every so often I get inspired to come up with a new scenario to explain how Ford lost my car and how my Ford dealership is powerless to help find it. But then Reality creeps in.

You are correct and that is the rub, that the order is forced through a dealership. The problem is that Ford does not provide the dealership with more information than the customer. The dealership is third party and not part of Ford. If the dealer were cut out then my car would still be missing...
