My dealership doesn't know anything about EVs. They charge 130$ (USD) for maintenance and recommend it every 5k miles. It's painful. I had to specifically request only a tire rotation and inspection for the 10k maintenance.

Thanks for taking a look. I'm guessing since the car was sitting parked for a week (since 12/10/23) it didn't report out. The LVB did die yesterday while in the process of being towed.

I got the dreaded service vehicle soon error message yesterday. The dealership has the car, but I imagine they won't be forthcoming with the errors. Is it possible to see the errors codes by looking up my vehicles VIN? 3FMTK3RM5NMA28293

Was not aware of that. Yes this is my first car over 50k. My previous car was a used 2014 chevy Cruze that I purchased for 8k. Thanks for the clarification!

I suppose I mistated in my OP, but finances aren't the issue, rather that it is not fair. Why am I paying roughly 300$ more (200$ more if factoring in the 114$ on taxes) than a gasoline car? (My math is 154$ registration fee for a gas car plus the 114$ you calculated minus the 416$ registration...
