Sorry but a Brit responding. I am so envious of your fuel and Rapid charge prices. For a 500 mile journey (it can be achieved in the U.K š), I want to turn up at a Rapid charger where there are at least 6 (so I donāt have to wait) and I pay Ā£0.79 ($0.98) per KWh, and I get approx 2.8 miles/KWh...
And you believe your dealer? If anything like mine āthe cheque is in the postā would have been something, rather than āweāll get back to youā š and then absolutely nothing! If indeed a subscription for it is the future (apology to you in advance), if someone in Ford is thinking āoh wow, lots of...
Hi James III,
Good to see you are still there on the FP Community š. My next FP Community suggestion will be to add SecuriSafe to the FP App, which will notify you if a door or the boot is opened. Yes indeed, Iāll probably get banned for being sarcastic now that the wonderful people at Ford...
Iāve given up trying to get answers From Ford. I get most of my answers from the great people on this forumā¦.thank you.
The dealershipā¦..forget itā¦.the āAftersales Managerā, a job I would have loved to have had. He does absolutely nothing. I am convinced that there is a secret Ford training...
Hi Kdpt, thanks for the info. Going into shop.ford.co.uk if I enter my registration it does not recognise it. Ok, so I selected Ford Mustang Mach-e and the bulid year (2021), and it says it is incompatible. Tried the 2020 and 2022 options and it says incompatible for all 3 options.
Could you...
Hi Davkd, I was so hoping this would work but unfortunately not. The boot does open from the front screen. Only just had the dealer (power-up) update to 22-PU0706-SCH-POPA, so maybe a further OTA update will enable this.
Thanks for the info š, and alas no āFrunkā button yet. As much as charging info is quite nice to know on the FP App, that info is generally available on the charger/charger App, I wish Ford would concentrate on the more important points customers have raised (all due respect, my opinion, sorry)...
Hi James, nice reply and indeed trying to get any type of resolve etc out of Ford seems to be impossible, so I have pretty much given up. I get just about all the info I need from this forum (thanks everyone š).
At least the car is smart in many ways. If the alarm does keep going off and the...
I so agree about that the MOT does not necessarily mean the vehicle is safe. My daughters first car (18 years ago) was a Mini Cooper (the original ones). The car had 9 months MOT remaining. The rear sub-frame rust holes were patched with paper, glue and finished off with beaded runs of silicon...
Years ago I owned a 2.8i Capriā¦lovely car. An old gentleman decided to change lanes without looking and hit the nearside wing. I was breaking so hard that the front dipped down which on impact the inside edge of the wing caught the tyre wall resulting in a slight slash. The tyre was almost new...
Oh wow, 9k seems pretty steep. I assume they changed the panel above the āblackā panel which looks expensive. Iām sure that many body shops add to the price if it is an insurance claim.
If the sensors are positioned in the same place, orientation and angle they should be ok.
Here in the U.K., my Comprehensive Insurance does cover accidental damage but I would have to pay the voluntary excess (Ā£250) + the compulsory excess (Ā£150). Is the voluntary excess the same as lower...
Driving in the winter snow recently on a dual carriageway, a HGV going the other way sent some hard packed snow across the central barrier. The snow damaged my front āblackā panel as you can see in the attached photo. Does anyone know the part number? Hoping to replace the panel myself, has...
Hello Tannerk89, so sorry for the slow reply. 5th ferry trip and trying all sorts to stop the alarm going off (fuse 20 removed), so whether the actual alarm horn sounded or not I have no idea. Anyway the 5th 6 hour crossing the moment the ferry sailed I got a message to say the alarm triggered...
Now got Power-Up 2.1.0, Via 1.7.0, then next day OTA 2.1.0. So hoping that the alarm going off moan that I have would be fixed, but alas NOT. Jacked the car up on the passenger side front (U.K. front left side), after leaving the Fiesta type key fob on the ground for 2 minutes to go into sleep...
Haha, this is what I do (in a car park, where you donāt know who is watching), foot in and out on the centre and if the boot doesnāt open, a double press on the key fob in my pocket š¬. Hopefully anyone watching thinks kicking your leg in and out and the boot opens is so cool š.
Seriously mine...
