I bought a set of the iON Evos a few months ago and have about 4k miles on them. I haven’t seen a drop in range or any noticeable difference in road noise. I got them at Walmart when they were on sale for $180 each. I have a CR1 so that’s for an 18”.
I saw this early and waited half an hr to do anything about it. Probably would been in the first 1K. Tried but the site was pretty much crashed then fell asleep. Woke up and reserved at 24k ??♂️ Says July.
Had to use mine last night. Worked out great actually. I wonder if it’s ok to wash out the Ford supplied container then add the green slime after it dries. Like will the washing it out mess it up somehow? ??♂️
No idea. Never saw anything. Could of just busted the bead then spit the tire with the rim. I didn’t hear anything either. I noticed the TPMS gauge before anything. I saw 19 psi then 4psi then zero. Rear tire so I didn’t get much movement out of it. ??♂️
Update- Got the car back and driving back home. Wheel was fine. Only a 3 hr delay for Disneyland and $250 for the tire and car rental ??♂️ I was able to use my Ford Reward points towards the tire and that took care of a 1/3 of the price.
Hopefully not likely!?? It is the second tire issue I’ve had. Got a screw in it going to a Rams game but it was a slow leak and busted out the pump that comes with the car. Got the low air notification while on the freeway and pulled off then aired up.
Had my first tow yesterday after a blowout on the rear passenger tire driving on the 405 to Disneyland. Called Ford roadside and my State Farm roadside at the same time. State Farm had someone there in 30 min. Ford was going to be over 90 min. Not having a spare sucks! Towed to the closet...
