I just want to put out there that I traded in my MME for an EV6 last month and every time I’ve tried to hit up a 350 stall, It seems that an MME owner (I mean I’ve had an ID4 try it and they were cool once I explained it to them) is on it and trying to DCFC. Typically all the 150’s will all be...
There’s only you in an MME and the other person in one of those other cars (take your pick on the model) The trick to that question is those other cars are 800v platforms and charge well over 200kw. The MME will max out a 150kw stall (depending on the trim).
Question: say there is 150kw stall and a 350kw stall and your in your Mach E and another person in a Ioniq 5, EV6, Gv60, Porsche Taycan, etc pull in at the same time. Both are coming off a long road trip at ~20-30%. Which stall are you pulling into -the 150kw or 350kw? I don’t ask this question...
I'm trading in my MME on friday, if it's not listed on the NTSB's website and they don't mention it when I trade it in-it will become not my problem at that point.
Your cons list fits me almost to the letter except it being in the shop that long. Mine is that my MME being refused to be worked on by my local dealership since it’s an EV. On 6/17 I pick up my EV6…
It’s pretty funny people say comprehensive claims don’t increase premiums when every insurance company I’ve had, have increased when a comprehensive claims has been made.
I called insurance yesterday. If I go through with a replacement, it’ll go into my comprehensive claim history. I’d rather not do my premiums don’t go up.
The other day I was going to a Drs appointment and I heard a loud crack. Turns out my windshield got the brunt of a large rock. When I first saw it, my thoughts were “hope I don’t need a new windshield and hopefully a chip repair will fix it.” Got it fixed yesterday and they did the best they...
Has happened on mine more than a few times especially in the last month or so. Idk but it’s a job 2 and I don’t see them fixing it anytime soon. I’ve noticed the UI getting more and more sluggish since I got it. Again don’t expect fixes or updates on that either.
The issue I took it to the dealership wasn't even fixed. They were so focused on the OBCC being reprogrammed and that one DTC, they didn't even look into my initial issue as to why I called. Where I live isn't very EV friendly, mainly farm and fleet trucks so they could care less as to look at...
I really am just gonna give up on them doing updates on Job 2 cars. I say this bc they want to keep early adopters (Job 1) happy to give a good name to the car and to deliver BC which they paid for. 2022 models will come with easier updates and enhancements baked in and Job 2 owners can p*ss off...
I’m guessing they just didn’t want to mess with it. Gonna be fun when the Lightning’s come out and they still don’t want to do updates on those either. I take the “EV Certified” Ford dealerships with a grain of salt. They probably just took a 30 min online course and now they are “certified”...
It’s funny bc they reprogrammed my onboard charger (not even the issue I was having) and did it in 45 mins under warranty, doing the update they could’ve got over an hour and just updated the obcc. I called another dealership and supposedly they are do it the first of next month. We’ll see but I...
UPDATE, the local dealership says my car doesn't qualify (Even though it was built in Aug 21). They tried giving me the excuse of "well maybe it wasn't built at that plant" and "maybe it wasn't built in that month"....This was all after I had to explain to them what it even was.
I just got told the exact same thing -- that my car doesn't qualify so they aren't do it. This was after I explained to them what it was bc they had no idea.
