  1. Electricity Costs Analysis for 2022 Mach-E GT

I filled out the form online. I'll see what happens next.
  2. Electricity Costs Analysis for 2022 Mach-E GT

I’m with Dominion and I’ve been searching for any EV-related programs. The ones I’ve seen aren’t open to new customers (?). I’ll check out the URL above. We also just started solar usage, adding another layer of tracking and monitoring our energy costs and savings.
  3. Dominion Power Smart Meter

OK, I know this is an old thread but I'll chime in with my question. In addition to getting an MME and a home level 2 charger recently, we also had solar panels installed on the backside of our roof., along with two external batteries for power storage. Today, Dominion Energy came out and...
  4. Anyone else experiencing any EV hate after getting your Mach E?

No negative responses for me after almost two months of ownership. +1 to the OP for use of the term ā€˜Buford.’
  5. If you use PAAK, What do you use to hold your keys

I’m leaning towards a faraday bag to have my keys in the car and rely on PAAK. I’m still ā€˜old school’ in regards to a physical key fob but I’d like to break from that mindset. for a front door, I highly recommend Schlage Sense - touchpad with a physical key backup. Mine is HomeKit enabled so I...
  6. Juice Box 40 and NEMA 14-50 outlet on the same line

Thanks all for the comments! I was using the mobile charging kit as a 'proof of concept' for any times I potentially may need to charge inside the garage vice outside. If/when we get a second EV, I'll get a second Juice Box 40 and set them up as a pair, and upgrade wiring if necessary.
  7. Juice Box 40 and NEMA 14-50 outlet on the same line

Thanks for the link to the Load Sharing info. I have reviewed it before but I'll take a deeper dive next.
  8. Juice Box 40 and NEMA 14-50 outlet on the same line

I had a 50 amp line professionally installed, from my circuit box (actually, a secondary box was added) and routed through our single-car garage. In the garage is an outlet (NEMA 14-50) that is compatible with the mobile charging kit that came with my MME. The same 50 amp line terminates at my...
  9. 7/4/22 Build Week Chat

For those still waiting .... it's worth the wait! I've enjoyed my MME for a month now and it's a genuine joy to drive. I'm almost at 1k miles (I don't have a work commute, so it's just local errands here and there, but I did have a road trip to Philly).
  10. What's behind this cover (in the frunk, next to the windshield wiper refill)

Hmm, I thought the 12v access was the front cover on the lower bumper.
  11. What's behind this cover (in the frunk, next to the windshield wiper refill)

I've parsed the owners manual and can't quite track down what's behind this cover. I haven't checked yet :) . Just noticed it this afternoon.
  12. Seeing Ponies in the Wild Around the DMV

Saw two rapid red MMEs today! Both along Gallows road/Merrifield area. I got a high beam ā€˜wave’ from one.
  13. Seeing Ponies in the Wild Around the DMV

Took delivery of my red CR1 a few weeks ago. Look for me in the Tysons/Vienna area.
  14. Accessories - from must have to optional

Thanks for that feedback. Seems my battle with Ford customer support will continue.
  15. Accessories - from must have to optional

OP here. Thanks for all the suggestions and comments. I've already stocked my MME with some items and added rear door handles. Semi-related question -- my Mobile Charging Kit in the trunk only contains the 240v adapter but NOT the 120v adapter. All documentation I've found on the Ford website...
  16. 7/4/22 Build Week Chat

I thought so, based on the wheels. Does your mobile charging kit in the trunk have two adapters (240v and 120v), or just one? Mine only has the 240v.
  17. 7/4/22 Build Week Chat

I have my first EV road trip tomorrow. Northern VA (just outside DC) to Philly for a doctor appointment. I can get there on the current charge, but ABRP has me stopping at a WaWa / Electrify America in Delaware. Hopefully it goes smoothly.
