Alright. Had my 12v replaced 5 months ago on a 2021. Never had any locked out/in issues. I do have 2 little ones and since learning about this issue year ago I usually leave my car on until I take the kids out. Or leave one door open. WI’ll def break that window if I do run into this situation...
21 premium. Installed front pony after receiving the new harness. No issues. Looks great. Did not have to take off the front camera connections as in the instructions video.
Pony lights up only when the headlights are on. Which I think is expected.

The tech said these things come pre-charged. He already placed it in the vehicle. It's got the 3year warranty now so I don't think I should be messing with it.
Just passed the 3yr mark on a 2021 job 2. Decided to have the battery replaced before it fails. Cost was $170 incl. parts and labor through Ford Mobile Service. They did the replacement in less than an hour.
Checked the battery level on the old one - 390/380. "It was still good".
The dealership next to me quoted me ~$175 to swap out the LVB. Waiting on a callback to schedule the mobile service.
I don't think I trust this dealer to fully charge the battery prior to installing it. Is there a way I can check? Or is there a document I can point to which says the battery must...

How? I have holes drilled in the frunk panel for easy access to 12v.
1. How do I open the frunk manually from the front bumper access point?
2. what do I do once the frunk is opened and I have access to the 12v?
