That’s great. I think some states have laws that limit those fees. I’ve bought cars in TN, GA and KY and it’s always been between $500 and $800 and they’ll never negotiate it. I’ve threatened to walk and they haven’t budged.
True. But if I could find one at MSRP on a dealer lot without X-Plan I may just buy it instead of waiting god knows how long over the somewhat minimal X-Plan savings between MSRP and X-Plan pricing.
I’m going to give it my best effort when I start doing it and exhaust all options. A 500 mile drive home sounds like a fun adventure in a new car too. We shall see…

There are some 2022s in Texas, Illinois and Michigan already. I was thinking along the same lines though, with Ford saying they’re going to significantly increase production. Would prefer a 2022 because range has gone up a little but if I can find a 21 Premium that someone would happen to sell...
