1 Pedal Drive disabled?

Driving home this evening on the freeway, had adaptive cruise control (actually, maybe even Blue Cruise) so I wasn't even touching the pedals. Suddenly I got an orange warning message on the console telling me that 1 Pedal Driving was unavailable and that I'd need to use the brake pedal to reduce speed.

Other than that car drove normally. When I got off the freeway ~20 mins later and was stopped at a stop light I shut the car off, then started it up again. 1 Pedal drive worked fine after that restart.

Anybody have thoughts on this behavior?

That happened to me one time before. It's a minor error when the powertrain software detects a torque discrepancy. It will go away after a restart. If it happens again I would suggest getting the latest powertrain software installed.
