I took my first road trip this weekend of +/- 195 miles each way.

-The trip up started at 65* and ended at 60*
-Departed at 78% charge
-1 charging stop for 15 min
-Arrived at 15%
-5 miles @ 50 mph, 17 miles @ 65 mph, 177 miles @ 75 mph
-total battery usage 90% for 199 miles. 2.43 miles/kW

-the return trip started at 80* and ended at 85*
-departed at 100% charge
-no charging stops
-arrived at 20% charge
-5 miles @ 50 mph, 28 miles @ 65-70 mph, 159 miles @ 75 mph
-total battery usage 80% for 192 miles. 2.64 miles/kW

I adjusted my settings in ABRP to 3.2 miles/kW @ 65 mph and it is now accurate to my real time battery usage on this trip.

seems a bit low from my spring/summer GT experience. What does your GOM read at 100%?

Sounds about right for my 4XP. I've done the Cali coast from the Bay Area to Santa Barbara, ~600 miles round trip, a couple of times now and I find that at 75 mph, a 2.6 mi/kwh average is nominal.

On that route, though, there is a pretty significant asymmetry between southbound and northbound runs. Southbound has more regen amenable descents and a prevailing tailwind through the Salinas Valley. As such, I can make it south on one stop, but need two on the way home.

In spite of my knowing the GoM is a useless tool, I was nevertheless surprised/dismayed/annoyed that upon return from my early June run, my 100% SOC equivalent range dropped from ~260 to 215 miles due to this run. 🤦‍♂️

I just have 600 miles on my MME (GTPE with extended battery) and have just been doing short little runs (just having fun). I am going to take my first "long distance" trip within the SF Bay Area (San Jose to Sonoma).

I really appreciate other providing real-world data. If I read the actual miles/kW correctly, at 75 mph, I should expect to see ~ 230 miles from 100% to 0%. At 65 mph, it goes up to ~ 288 miles. Great that I now what my true range is based on driving speed. I guess I will have to live with 230 mile range on my car.

Drove from Aurora, SD to Pierre SD today at 60 mph to cross the great charging desert. Just a touch under 200 miles and still had 29% battery left when I got to Pierre. Worked out to 267 mile range at 60 mph. 22 GTPE

I get about 2.4 mi/kWh with the cruise set at 80 now that the weather is warm.
