2022 Mach E Route 1 - Trunk auto-unlock not working

Hello,

I own a 2022 Ford Mach E Route 1. I've noticed the trunk doesn't auto-unlock. Its worked a few times in the past, but lately it doesn't work at all. I tried some of the suggestions provided by other Mach E owners (enter and exit Valet mode) and disable/enable auto-unlock. None of them seem to work. Can you please provide some suggestions. This is a real pain in the neck especially when I have my hands full and the trunk wont unlock.

I haven’t tried much, but did notice that if I open a door first, the trunk unlocks. Quirky and not handy. I’m dreading the day I open the passenger rear first, fill the trunk, jump in and drive and forget to close the passenger rear….

Using the Fob (double click the trunk button)to open the trunk got it to work yesterday . Who know how long that will last or if it was actually something else
