We did a review of the 2025 Mach-E. As a 2022 Mustang Mach-E GTPE owner, the biggest differences are the column shifter, BlueCruise 1.5, updated suspension, updated driver's screen, and Velocity Blue with Sport Appearance package.

Thanks for sharing your review.

Do you think over time we'll have more SaaS services, i.e., Performance Upgrade type services with a cost?

It feels as if it is just another way for manufacturers to obtain a monthly or year finance cost from customers.

Absolutely. I think all manufacturers are trying to figure out what people are willing to pay for on a monthly or annual basis. The Performance Upgrade is a one time payment but I think they are much more interested in recurring fees.

Thank you for the candid review. I do love me some Velocity Blue! Still trying to figure out whether or not I like it more than Grabber Blue.?

I'd say that I'm mostly happy with the changes for 2025. I know the "3 on the tree" gear selector is polarizing to some, but I see it as an upgrade. Same with the addition of the heat pump. I totally understand if the smaller Frunk is a deal breaker for some, but I rarely ever use mine. The ventilated seats sound amazing, but not bringing them to the GT and Rally is disappointing, for sure.

BC 1.5 seems like a decent upgrade as well. Although, I don't see myself paying for a subscription as it's a rarity that I drive on highways or freeways.

All that said, I don't feel as though the changes are enough to push me to upgrade from my 2023 premium to another Premium. Upgrading to a 2025 GT or Rally, however, is something that I've seriously considered. Ultimately, the bath that I would take on my trade makes upgrading now unappealing. Maybe I'll reevaluate in a couple years when the Gen 2 comes out.
