I have yet to encounter a NEMA 10-30P receptacle in the wild. Where would you even use the Ford charger outside of your own garage? Since I have a JuiceBox, my Ford charger lays unused since 2021 on a shelf in my basement.

I've read this a couple times, but I can't piece together how it fits into the discussion at all. What does a NEMA 10-30 have to do with a NACS to CCS1 adapter? And by the way, the P in 10-30P stands for plug. If you're talking about a receptacle, it would be 10-30R. But I don't even know why you're talking about a 10-30 at all since the Ford Mobile Charger's plug is a NEMA 14-50. But again, none of that has anything to do with the discussion at hand.

Am I the only one who put my Ford adapter naked in a bag with some other charging accessories (J-1772 extension, Telsa Tap, etc) and tossed it in the frunk? The hard shell plastic is durable, and I don't see a reason to protect it from cosmetic scratches?
Why does such a product need a custom case to keep it "safe"? I don't see how it could get damaged unless you drop it onto pavement from a height of several feet (or more).

I bought the Lectron Vortex version, (it works flawlessly by the way), I just put it on the lower console under the charging pad area. It is lined with a rubber mat. It doesn't move around at all, and easy to get at when I charge. FYI I use Tesla charge stations as much as humanly possible. 10x used, not one issue yet. Works first time, every time so far.

Yeah, sorry, I was confused. We're talking about the adapter Ford is purportedly sending. I was talking about the charging cable that came with the car.

I bought one of these and cut out the mesh piece without the zipper in it. Works perfectly. When I know I’m going to need it, I tuck the case in the door. When I don’t need it, I tuck the case in that nook in the side of the trunk.

Nice that you guys on the right side of the tracks have such things.
We slummers on the wrong side of the tracks just hope we can make it to the grocery store and back w/ minimal faults/failures and consequently w/o accident.
