So as I previously reported, I brought the car into the dealer to get the HVBJB replaced. No problem, took about 2 weeks to get it. Once they started replacing it they determined I also needed a main battery harness. At that point another Copis ticket went in, and now I am just sitting waiting with no ETA.
The dealer has been good, but I don't understand the supply chain issue that allows for new cars to be built but my car sits with no obvious path to repair. Today I stopped by the dealer to talk about long-term storage (disconnecting the 12V battery, do I need to put it up on blocks?)
Am I missing something here? I've called the BEV team, but they are not helpful. It seems that their purpose in life is to beat dealers into doing the right thing (which mine is).
My dealer updated the copis ticket today asking about a line pull (I guess the slang for getting a harness from the manufacturing line), but apparently that is rare.
Any suggestions?
