Hello,

With the vents for the Mach - E being recessed I have a issue using my air freshener from Diptyque, its a niche brand andI've reached to their support to see if they have something to help extend it but to no avail. If someone has a way to add extra surface area so that I can attach my device to the vent I would be grateful.

Yeah, the vents are very recessed. Most vent clips won’t reach. I use “drift” air fresheners and they have a clip for the sun shade that works perfectly.

I ended up sticking a tiny magnetic plate on the flat trim just above the vent and using a matching magnetic clip to hold my freshener. It keeps things clean without blocking airflow. If you ever want to switch scents, stuff from https://nothingbutscents.com/collections/designer-inspired works well with simple clip setups, since you can pop their oils into small vent-safe diffusers pretty easily.
