Alarm System: when I set the Motion Sensors Off and Ask on Exit Off, it will reset to “On” eventually. How can I keep it Off?

Ask on Exit should stay off. But there is no way to make the motion sensors stay off, unfortunately.

Several of us have repeatedly asked @Ford Motor Company to fix this bug. But they evidently think the inability to permanently toggle off interior motion sensors is a feature, not a bug. I would appreciate as many people as possible pestering @Ford Motor Company until they finally change this.

Even leaving "Ask on Exit" toggle on, and using that to deactivate the interior sensors, does not work reliably. This is all covered in the thread linked above. At present, the only known workaround is to cover the interior motion sensors with tape. Do you hear that @Ford Motor Company ? I currently have to use duct tape to fix your stupid software problem.

But it gets better: I was poking around the Owner's Manual, and I'm not even kidding you, here is what it says....

WHAT ARE THE INTERIOR SENSORS

The interior sensors are designed to detect any movement inside your vehicle.

The interior sensors are in the overhead console.

Note: Do not cover the interior sensors.
