Alarm System

When I turn off my Mach E, I get a query on the display that says “Alarm System Turn Off Motion Sensors?” With a Yes and a No button below. When I select Yes, in order to leave my dog in the car, about 50% of the time the car alarm will be triggered by my dog. Has anyone had a similar experience? Have you heard of a fix for this?

Known issue. Tape over the motion sensor.

This has been a known issue for over a year. Maybe in two more years there will be a fix. Until then, duct tape. Yes, duct tape.

These days most car owners prefer motion sensors attached to them. It gives extra protection by acting as an alarm system. I have seen home alarm system installers getting really massive attention these days. Forks! It's better to have these in your properties. Last time when I got a chance to visit a large glass production company with huge machines. And I observed that there were these motion sensors installed on every machine to ensure the security of the employees handling those divisions.

I thought I remember seeing a post about this and the person put on those sliding PC web cam covers over the sensors. If I recall, they are up near the map lights. Our cats do not like the car, so I don't have to worry about this issue. ?
